What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I cleaned up the Truck today and added a smoked license plate cover. I think it is a good addition to the Tundra!

 

They quoted me $525. For that, I think it will be a good investment to help protect the truck bed. I only wish I would have done the same to my Silverado 1500 when I first bought it almost 20 years ago.

Installed my RETRAX XR that I finally got today. Wife got it for me for Christmas but with the big sales it took a month to get it! Well worth it though, much easier than the BAKFLIP G2 that I had on a RAM.

I know it takes up about 12" of the bed but I don't haul that much and if I need to my buddy has a 15' trailer.

 

Drop in bedliners should not be a thing.

Good move ditching it.

 

It was a couple weeks ago but brought home my 2021 Limited Nightshade. Only took about 2 months since I put my deposit down. Sooooooo much more room than my Tacoma!! Already got about $2k in mods incoming.

 

No clear coat, they are just tow hooks but double paint. Thats how I roll.

 

Wow thats nice, there are plenty of mods but all you really need are tires. IMO

I have been wanting a console safe for some time. After looking at all of the Toyota and Amazon options, I went with my gut instinct. A Lock'er Down Exxtreme 1/2 safe. Proud to try this American made safe. Installation took 10 minutes, clear instructions and looks perfect for my needs. I'm now looking for organization for the other half.

I managed to get this thing installed. I got under the truck and was able to thread the hardlines into place without removing my RCI skid. That made me happy.

My cheap Amazon wifi OBDII scanner will be here in the morning. I already downloaded OBD Fusion from the App Store and got my User-Defined PIDs for the pan and TC loaded. I’ll run the fluid check procedure and take a test drive tomorrow.

 

Wife drove it home after dropping me off for my trip to Korea for a year. Now it won't get driven that much. Lmao

I wanted to thank @ElNopal, aka:Matt, aka: Matías for his assistance.
He provided me with a steering wheel so I wouldn’t have to remove mine and be rushed.
When it came to installation, I had a small part fall out and Matt literally went out and disassembled his steering wheel to help locate where the part went.
