Bro you should have posted this last November so I didn’t have to buy my fenders full price hahah... I’m digging the low profile, but keep your BW for backup in case you didn’t like it

Yes on the external mic. Going to install the one that came with the unit. I am using the factory antenna. If you with the same unit the TO2 kit has the antenna hook up. So far I really like it. It definitely wakes up the stock speakers.

Ok. So I got rid of all the chrome. I had my friend color match my hood bulge, surround and paint the grill gloss black. I’m waiting for my ready lift 6 inch kit with coil overs to arrive. They said the middle of December a month ago and now they’re saying 7-10 more days. I’m jonesing to put these 35x12.5x20 ridge grapps with my 20x10 fuel couplers on. The wait is killing me.

I think you meant to blank out your license plate... but I can still read it because the black is only about 50% transparent

Yes, absolutely! Relatively simple procedure that requires running a few new wires, and tapping into existing wires.

I got the basic idea from here (second gen procedure) and the basics are the same with some minor differences (2nd and 3rd gen clockspring plugs are different)

    • Unplug the Tundra button harness from the back of your stock wheel
    • Unplug the RAV4 button harness, and plug in the Tundra harness to the RAV4 wheel
    • Since the Tundra clockspring does not come pre-wired for the additional paddle wires, you have to do the following:
      • Three wires coming from the paddles are ground, shift up, shift down.
      • De-pin the three wires from the stock plug in the steering wheel.
      • Ground wire gets grounded anywhere on the steering wheel
      • Add the Shift Up pin to an open slot of your clock spring plugs (only two open slots!)
      • Add Shift Down pin to the other open slot of your clock spring.
    • Taking off the lower cover of the steering column, you expose the "output" plug to the clock-spring, on the right side.
      • Add two new pigtail wires (only two open slots) (Toyota part number 82998-12870 or 82998-12860)
    • Run those wires under your dash to the center console area, where transmission wiring is.
      • Tap into the Shift Up wire using your favorite electrical wire tap/connector.
      • Tap into the Shift Down wire using your favorite electrical wire tap/connector.

Got my dream camp fridge set up finalized. Got custom with the seat brackets in the double cab in order to delete the single passenger side seat and installed a Dometic CFX3 75DZ hard wired to Switch Pros 9100

Got my new wheels and tires installed.
Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in 275/70/18 on matte dark bronze SCS Ray 10s.
Tires balanced well and ride pretty good. Slightly more road noise over stock but nothing to be concerned with.
Way more planted feel over the stockers but not stiff or jarring by any means.

Also ordered a set of Eibach Pro Truck Coilover 2.0s and Sport rear shocks. Should be here in a few weeks since Eibach takes care of their employees and knocks them off for the holidays (that's worth waiting for). Although the more I look at this picture I don't hate the stock stance with the wheels and tires, but I'm sure that will pass.

Only thing left is the black door handles and I think I'm done for a while...

Another bit of silver plastic gone....I don’t have the patience for wrap but these overlays worked really well, better than I hoped. Door handle overlays orders, hopefully those work just as well.

191.8 pretty consistently. Towed about 28 miles one way. Dry weight of 3900 lbs and had gear for 4 people along with 2 full coolers.

How much clearance does this provide? I have seen the post, but never had an idea what would fit down there. Looks like the perfect place to let a pistol ride.
