I had a coworker telling me this, he thought he was going to be ticketed and gave them his ltc with his license and they got to talking. A few minutes later he had a warning and swears it was due to the ltc.

I've been putting mine off, maybe I need to buckle down and get it. Thanks for the info!

Here in WA you've got to have it vertical and facing forward...not sure if it's also got to be below the bottom of the windshield as well. I've know a few people that don't want to mount them on the bumper (sports cars and such) and have gotten ticketed for having them on the dash.

Didn't do anything to the truck today but the wife finally admitted that she likes driving the truck more than her Pilot now. She said her Pilot feels sluggish (9 speed transmission, not a fan) compare to the power of the truck and that she feels really small in it. Funny thing is she's been using the truck to drive to work for almost 4 months now and she finally admitted. Lol

It was my first experience dealing with wiring on a vehicle and I thought it was pretty easy! The support hub on the 12 Volt Solutions website was beneficial, and the video guides were enough to get the job done smoothly.

Sure thing, no problem. Very easy install although i would recommend buying some stronger double sided tape, as i found the ones in the kit to be pretty weak. You don't get installation instructions in the kit, but they direct you to their website which has great directions and pics. Good luck.

Started farting around with building a basic button socket setup that I can use for other purposes. Not sure what I’ll do with it yet, but the socket is a perfect fit.

    65870093-501C-4BDA-BAB0-6F68911AE3A1.jpg

I also started prototyping a custom organizer setup for the bottom of the console now that I have the half-safe in there. Something like the OCD organizer except that I want to just do dividers that go side-to-side. And maybe adjustable.

Do you know what the range is on the remote/app? Does the device with the app on it have to be in the same range as the FOBs? Or could you theoretically start your truck using the app from some distance away (say a couple of miles....)?

The app module allows you to start it from any distance with your phone! I got it to start my truck from my office as I'm getting ready to leave work!
