Great choice on the caliper paint. I’ve been using that stuff for years

How did you get the dash cam on the display? Is that a Kenwood thing?

    Just got my 10” installed.
    Damn, it sounds good.

I can already see an increase in my fuel mileage...

    ... is what I told my wife.

Easy install. Hardest part was getting the TRD pipes off.
FedEx was kind enough to bend in one of my hangers, luckily, I was able to massage it back in place with a small sledge hammer.

First off I want to thank @Zero One Actual for donating a practically, brand new tailpipe.
He went above and beyond sourcing a large box, packing it up and taking it by two different shippers to get it to me.

I removed mine initially for the TRD system and got rid of it.

Second I want to thank @dirtydeeds for their great customer service and quality product.

I Painted up my tailpipe so it’s nice and tucked away.

    And it sounds great!
Decent speakers are really needed to fully appreciate.

    Start up.

Picked up some stuff to start my audio upgrade....remote wire, speaker wire, etc. Replacing the head unit with a Pioneer Android Auto unit and installing Rockford Fosgate door speakers. I'll install the subs and amps after that. Wired up the Maestro unit today.

Which Pioneer model are you going with? I'm deciding which one to get since all my door speakers are Pioneer.

Why the change from TRD to DD, if you don't mind me asking? I'm still undecided on what exhaust I want, always liked the looks of duals but since Tundra goes to the side I guess it doesn't matter.

The TRD duals are really about bling (IMO).
I noticed an immediate loss in low end after installing them
They tend to make a helicopter sounding reverberation when cruising.

The DD is throaty and deeper sounding.
Gives better low end feel and better overall gains with the DD.

The TRD is nice, but wasn’t what I was looking for.

Yeah sadly it’s Kenwood to Kenwood. I wasn’t able to use my Thinkware fA200 through the deck, so gave that to be the girlfriend so I could get the Kenwood.

I was just going to ask if the DD got rid of the helicopter whump whump thump. I’ve been looking at the 10” as well and just wanted to find someone that’s had the TuRD exhaust for a true comparison.

TRD exhaust with an H-pipe will also get rid of the helicopter sound at certain cruise conditions.

Bought Carista and made some changes, got rid of the seatbelt chime, changed the turn signals to 7 from 3, changed the time for the outside lights to stay on to 60 sec., changed it to unlock all doors with one click

I sure wish I could make the mirrors fold with the door locks

Working 60-70 hours a week I guess I’m sick in the head for doing more work, but this is my weekend therapy. I love this Griot’s Best of Show Detailer, because unlike the Speed Shine, you can use it in the sun.

Fun tip: I’ve been using Griot’s (yes I’m a Griot’s fan boy :D) Black Shine on not only my tires, but my Plastidipped rims as well. The Black Shine has had no adverse effects on the Plastidip at all, after using it for over a year. Lasts about 2-3 weeks.

Not trying to bust your bubble, but I hope you like helicopters. My SR5 was ordered with it from the dealer. I can’t wait to replace it. Hopefully there’s more than one TRD system and yours won’t have the dreaded drone. I didn’t research/order it, but I’ll be selling it ASAP.

Well gosh Mr. Delaware. I guess your miserable and must ensure everyone else is. Thanks for the good word...let me make another guess. You're going with BAMufflers.

Well damn I didn’t think I was that aggressive. No, I’m not miserable, nor am I trying to make anyone else. I’m simply stating I hope you have a different TRD system that doesn’t drone like mine (I feel those ARE good words). Also, I’m not going with the BAMufflers, @dragracer-art posted an eBay system he’s very happy with. I think that’s the direction I will go. Golly Mr. Texas, I didn’t think Texans were that sensitive! You must be a transplant?

@shaggysanchez @Vang530 @CorsoTundra -did any of your guys’ TSS garnish covers from MCautoparts have pitting and blemishes? Here’s a picture of mine that I received today from MCauto. It almost looks like overspray, but doesn’t wipe off with any paint/adhesive remover. F4476CBF-402F-4A07-A02B-99A024108CFA.jpg
