Ha! Thanks for the honest answer! For what its worth, the voltmeter and rear lights look bad ass.

Actually, if the truck is running, that voltage is a little low. Obviously still usable for any 12V devices, but that voltage either indicates some resistance between the battery/alternator and the port, or a low voltage output. Easy to check - check the voltage at the battery terminals - with a voltmeter. :boink:

A strong battery/alternator will read around 13.5V with the truck running.

Well that sucks! No shipping info yet, but they did charge me already which I took as a good sign.
I'll call them tomorrow to see what's up. Thanks for the info.

That's the first thing I noticed when I got my truck, the seat is too flat and I felt like I was sliding forward. Not enough in the settings to make it tilt back enough.
I thought about doing this exact thing, but just using some round stock with a hole drilled in the middle and a longer bolt.
Didn't even know these existed. I assume the seat feels solid once all bolted back up? Any wiggle or movement?
    Great idea, but dang expensive!

do you have the smart key? I was under the assumption that all the newer trucks had the smart key and therefore couldn’t use this kit because of the modules in the center.

I thought I read on ESP’s site that the center bin was made shallower to accommodate the wiring harness for the trucks with a smart key.

No, I don’t have the push start or remote start option on my Tundra. So I don’t have the harness in the center or had to worry about it. However the center box is shallower (in depth) than the sides and older version of the ESP storage. Cutting the foam out is the tricky part if you have the smart key option. Trying not to cut into the harness. From what I read & seen a vid that there is a plastic shield to protect the wires when cutting the foam.
( pick from another thread ).

Couldn't resist, just ordered the same setup. Hopefully it will work with the Husky floormat which rests on the seat footings.
If not I may have to do some minor surgery with an X-acto knife...

Mine skin is headed that way too. Monthly or twice-monthly full day sessions lined up for all of next year.

As far as the Diamondback cover and crossbars, I am definitely glad that I didn’t drill in to my cover. The KB Voodoo crossbars are easy to remove when I don’t need them for my RTT. Other than my RTT, I don’t need them for anything and I don’t have my RTT on year round. I didn’t want them to be permanent. I’ve been super happy with them.

Looks like a great deal!! Please confirm, the PRO grill and bulge come together? Is the sensor cover the acrylic TSS cover? What do they mean by grill hole cover? Thank you!!

Everything is as solid as it was from the factory. To me, the difference in comfort after install is night and day. Before putting in the seat jackers, I always felt like i was sitting on bleachers. The change in angle give much better support for my legs.

Hello from the North. How did you find sensor mounts on this. Did you file the clips down or did you find they where fine ? I'm about to order a set for both ends. Apricate it the input.

Got my Hypertech speedometer calibrator dialed in. Set the original tire size to 32”, and the new size to 33.5” (even though they are 295/70R18) - so a 4.7% factor. Checked against three different GPS speedo apps on two different devices, and hit a radar speed sign as well. Readings all match from 0 to 80mph, and the cruise controls (dynamic and fixed speed) all jive too.

Methinks that from the factory, Toyota has these calibrated at a slightly larger original tire size than what is actually on the trucks.

At first I tried vinyl wrapping a couple of times, didn't turn out like I wanted. Went back and forth on the shellz and OEM caps but finally decided on OEM caps from Sparks Toyota since they offer paint before shipping. Paint was pretty close to matching truck just a shade off due to age of paint on truck. Just remember OEM caps are plastic, not metal like OEM chrome ends. If you hit anything in either one it is going to get destroyed regardless so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Got my hood bulge installed. Rest of grille was supposed to be here today but UPS dropped the ball on me. Ordered the factory grille from a dealer off Amazon and found the bulge on amazon as well but it is not a factory part. Fits well but not perfect...20201201_162712.jpg

Anyone know why that foam is even there? Seems like a wasted opportunity for a totally flat floor and plenty of under-seat storage.

There's more under there - rails for the seat mounting, etc. and the floor slopes up toward the back of the cab. Yes, it could have been designed differently, but the core cab structure of the "Gen 3" is still the same as the Gen 2 so they (designers) were stuck with attempting to make a completely different seat style (bottoms flip up and fixed angle of the back) work with the original Gen 2 mounting points and rails that allowed the backs to fold forward or recline and the bottoms to slide forward/back (more like the manual front seats do).
