The bearing doesn't get removed to install the drop down spacer.

You're not understanding what I am saying. If you took both bolts out at the same time, the carrier bearing could have rotated 180 degrees around the drive shaft. All it takes is a simple look. If you don't see one hole on the bottom of the carrier bearing, it's upside down and causing your shudder.

I flipped mine 180° on purpose, on my Tacoma, & it got rid of my vibes. Just food for thought!

Its as advertised. I live in the boonies now and have one on my house which is night and day from before without it. Its definitely pricey, I mostly added it for peace of mind. I have a 6 month old so the wife worries a bit when we get far out there. This helps her feel "in reach of safety" I suppose. I also have to work sometimes even when I'm not working so its great for that.

Thanks man. There are so many incredible crazy builds around here. Mine is getting there at this point. I'm saving the best for last. The next ~6 month should be fun and "finish up" the build. (Don't tell my wife we're never finished)

    Install couldn't be easier.
Use a jack to hold up the driveshaft at the carrier bearing, unbolt both bolts, drop the jack a little, slide the spacers in, and put the bolts back in with a little blue threadlocker.

wtf? I've been on a waitlist for these for like 3 months, but for bronze. I hope I didn't get skipped over, or I'm out of the whole RRW thing.

It's a sign that you should be getting SCS wheels. :boink:

I still need to install my front ones! Might have to talk to the shop at work, because we've had non stop wind for the last week and a half. I need to get these on, the rear diff breather relo, and the ESP rear seat storage into my truck.

No 17" or rock ring option... :( I could add rock rings, but I would still have 18s. If they made 17s, I would put them on my list.

Actually these were a clearance set (scratches) couldn't pass them up, but otherwise I've been watching them as well and they haven't had any NEW stock.

So get the 18" wheels from SCS and then upsize your tires to add enough sidewall to accommodate them.

alright, well that makes me feel a bit better.

There's rumors that Method will be releasing a high offset Trail series. MIGHT wait for that or go a completely different route. I REALLY want a rock ring.

I haven't decided if I'm going to order the rock rings, but I probably will at some point.

Just make sure you orient the carrier bearing correctly. I cannot count how many times I've seen them installed upside down, which almost negates the drop kit.

If you off-road any rocky trails, it's worth it. My current wheels are 20s and they have some trail damage. OOORRRR... you can just ball out and get the beadlock rings. They are supposed to be billet. If I do get the h-6, I'll be getting both, but starting with the rock rings.

3W soft rubber mats. Had Huskey Xact for a couple years and loved them, but 3W mats are even more detailed in the fit. Even had mount covers if you wanted to secure mats even further which I used the Eagle claw floor fasteners. Now selling my Huskey Xact “Platinum badge” also with Eagle claw

Definitely didnt need it... but I picked up a TRD skid plate today. Hoping to find some time to get it on soon. Its the older model that doesn't have the lettering which I actually like a lot more.
