The other picture from @War_Wagon312 says "system update" while mine just said "update" not sure what the difference there is...

Finally got around to installing the black door handles from @dpast88 only took me 2 months to find the time. Really easy swap, less than 10 minutes total for all 4. I should have done it sooner.

Got my LED OEM headlights installed. Did full LED swap on all lights/blinkers. Learned how to solder on the fly when splicing in the resistors. Only took about an hour to do the full swap, mostly from me being over cautious before tapping into the wiring lol. VAST improvement when compared to the Halogen bulbs at night.

    TEXAS!

yup. ordered on sunday, the 20th, received on thursday, the 24th. quick shipping. installed that evening in less than 20 minutes.

very easy remembering to use when jumping into a mildy lifted pickup; as i no longer use the steering wheel.

it'll be a hard habit to break sliding out. long term (when i remember), my seats will thank me.

added benefit; it helps my ocd and love of symmetry

Wonder if I should try the download on a USB. I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality or volume like some have stated. Is the Alexa thing a new app that shows up? I have an Android so I wonder if I just can't see it because of that.

The menus are different it added some apps and I noticed when I turn my stock radio past 40 it still gets louder. Before at 40 it wouldn’t get louder despite turning it up to 50. That’s about it though.

First oil change since installing the fumoto valve. If you’re changing your oil without one you’re doing it wrong.

Also went back to the standard oil filter after running the TRD filter for the past year. I couldn’t take how the TRD filter sits crooked in the filter housing.

I saw it drop and was like “wtf was that?” Got looking around later and found this hole empty on the visor. The other bolt was pretty loose too. No clue why they were loose, maybe the previous owner had the headliner out for some reason. Passenger visor was tight.

Entune update seems to make highs more crisp and everything slightly louder.

Factory head unit with JL full system from Tech12.

I’ve had this system for years now.
It definitely made it a little louder with the update.
    Kinda’ crazy.

If you watched it perform the update from your phone, I don’t think the usb will make a difference.

It seems like the factory JBL receives less of an “upgrade” from this update.

    Just speculation from reading through.

It could be 2 different updates. When updating through the app it could just be updating the optics and the actual system update is from the download on the usb.

Wife and I went for a drive yesterday. She said the exhaust sounded good and wasn't annoyed by the sound without the resonator. Will probably leave it off for now. Also, gas mileage seemed to go up even at 80+ mph on the highway.

I just tried looking at the app, and logging into https://www.myentune.com/ site. Both list the Alexa app (which is new as far as I know). I'm guessing this does mean I have the newest version? Is there a version number anywhere we can look up and reference to our headunit to see if it is indeed the newest? This is the only usual logical way I can think of to check revision history.
