looks awesome. What is the wait time for the topper? Can’t wait the year for the vagabond topper.

That looks amazing! Reminds me of a kryptek camo pattern.

That’s the name of the pattern from Mammoth Guard...funny I didn’t even know that was the name of a camo pattern. Appreciate it!

It was originally 14 weeks but it got pushed back to about 20. I think they are up to 28 weeks now but don't quote me on that. That was part of the reason I went with them. I think they have one of the shortest lead times of any camper company, and they make an awesome product.

Brand new to the site but I've been lurking for a while. Just upgraded from 08 Taco TRD Off-Road to a 19 Tundra CrewMax SR5 2 weeks ago. Before the Taco, back when I thought I was an a-hole, I had several BMWs and an Audi Allroad and this truck is the most expensive vehicle I've ever owned. Added a Softopper, Bedrug, TRD Rear sway bar, Sumo Springs, ESP underseat storage, Heated Tow Mirrors, Center Console organizer and Dashtopper (my Taco came with one and I loved it). I spent years upgrading the Tacoma to get it dialed-in so I had a good idea of what I wanted to do with the Tundra. Waiting on my N-Fab multimount light bar and 2 amber lights for the front. Just wanted to say thanks for all the good information here. I was able to do all the work myself just by searching on this site.

Welcome to the club... looks like you're off to a good start with mods, but it never really ends.

Do you have a pic of the Dashtopper? I'd like to get one myself but I haven't really seen one that fits exactly right.

About 30k but the owner before me was rough on the brakes burnt through the stock pads at 18k rotors were lucky to have made it that far.

This weather we just got is tits! I just ran a call and hurried back to the engine because it was actually cold. Winter is on its way to Texas! (It’ll probably be 95 degrees next week so enjoy it while it lasts.)

¡Buenos días damas y caballeros! Good morning ladies and gentlemen!

Well… uhm… I have no mods to share/bother us with today… However, I must relay wow and WOW!

I shall continue with a little backstory about moi, me. I am an educator. I have extensive experience in elementary up through university studies. My current position, at a charter school, has me responsible for over 450 students! Why do I mention this?

Well because at our school we still believe in fundamentals and teach them. “I treat you with respect so you will know how to treat me.”, “Great manners take you EVERYWHERE and do not cost you a thing, show me yours.”, and “You are responsible for your words, actions, reactions, behavior and learning.” “You are always free to choose BUT you are not free from the consequences of your choices!” All these statements and others are a real part in the daily lives of the students and staff.

I teach 2nd through 8th grades and continue to be impressed by the best in them. They are human… youthful humans, and I do see them occasionally NOT present their best. HOWEVER, they NEVER, EVER, have thrown even a remote amount of the “shade” that appeared to be directed at yours truly…

While I am a “big boy” and know how to “rise above it and take the high road”, I still have to scratch, shake my head and wonder… why we as adults can’t take a page out of the playbook book my students use?. I am very humbled and appreciative of my fellow Tundra hermanas and hermanos, that more than appear to be attempting to be the best possible versions of their human being selves, to chime in and offer “some redirection” and about how the nature of this Tundra community is distinctly different from others and why that continues to be a good thing!

    ¡Gracias y buen día!

I tend to try to stick with the old Jefferson line of thinking: If "it neither picks my pocket, nor breaks my leg" what do I care? I may fall short of that ideal way of thinking at times because I'm human, but I try.:notsure:

I don't have to want to do all the mods I see here for me to appreciate the passion and skill that goes into them. I've also seen many that I never would have thought of, but they are fantastic ideas that I may one day steal. It's a great place to share all the different ideas and pick and choose those you wish to apply. I'm a huge fan of your build, Matt, even if I wouldn't do all the same mods. Don't stop sharing all the amazing stuff you are doing just because of a few sour posts.

So in a twist on current events: ALL MODS MATTER!

Brother, I love your work! I wish I had the patience you do. Knowing that you’re an educator now explains that part of it. I’m too impatient, lol. People love to be “keyboard warriors” nowadays. It annoys the hell out of me! I don’t know if he said it but it’s true.

    448DBBCA-B3A0-4A1C-9C24-9902F04F7FBA.jpg

Thanks for what you do as an educator. Y’all don’t get the credit or the compensation for what you do. Thanks for your mods as well. They’re awe inspiring a helps me come up with ideas since I’m not a creative person. Keep doing you boo!

People need to do more of the below.

We all have our own vision for our own trucks.
    Why poop on others vision?
The differences are what makes us great!
As a people and a country.

I’m married to a multiple degreed, NBC, special needs teacher.
It can be challenging. Her dedication is tested but unrivaled.

Thank you for what you do!

    Keep up the mods!

As a matter of fact I couldn’t find enough pictures of your truck.
    You need a build thread.

I don’t want to copy, and I would go a different direction with some of the things on my ride, but I appreciate your vision and have gotten some good ides from some of your mods.

Going a different direction or taking a different approach has made many a great man.

If we listened to the critics we could never achieve greatness.

    Good stuff!

    Thank you, Adam!

I know... You have been a fellow Cavalry Blue brother and we have fun poking fun at one another and hooraying for awhile now. It has been all good. I know about some of the differing tastes, directions you prefer and it remains all good even though they may not necessarily align with mine, and that is okay. I know you, as well as many others, came and "championed the enthusiast cause" and thus why I felt it necessary to say "thanks" to you and all the other members here that expressed their concern with another's "commentary"...

I remind you of my previous offer, it still stands... I would gladly help with the install of your badges and I will add another... Call on me anytime and I will help with the physical install of any of your mods you wish to trust me with! Blue/black leather seats are also included!
