Those are TSS wheels that are put on by the Gulf State Toyota dealers. It is part of a tire & wheel package along with stickers and a few other things.
Ultra is the rim company that makes them.

I feel ya brother, same here. I wasn't crazy bout putting them on either. However the extra protection especially with 12.5 wide pitbull growlers on a zero offset wheel, the function won over form. Like u said, they have since really grown on me.

Take my advice on this one. If you're going to black out the hardware, do it once with a powder coat, u don't want to end up like me taking them off and on, especially all the hardware multiple times. Do it once and do it right.

I gotta admit this little monster here has been taking all my time lately. With muscles like this as just a couple month old puppy, I feel like if I don't put the time in now, he could give me a run for my money as alpha when he gets a couple years on him.
    20200725_111719.jpg

Even with the new pup taking all my time, I managed to get him to just chill in the yard around me as a gave my other baby a wash. Not only is he taking my time, I gotta admit he's been keeping inside my truck a bit dirtier than my OCD will usually allow. So I cleaned both inside and out today.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, the other day while driving to Queens NY to meet with my friend/breeder/trainer I had the pleasure of cracking my windshield again. This will be the 3rd time I'll have to replace it with OEM glass. I'm starting to think my ol lady might be right, getting on people's ass to move them out the way to blow past them is not good for my truck lol.

Yea I’m on the fence about blacking out the hardware, Usually it would be a no brainer for me with my black out theme but these rivets match my wheels almost perfectly!...we’ll see what happens, and thanks for the advice!

    Yes it is!
I’ll get better pics once the truck has been washed.

here it is collapsed. Takes like 30 seconds. Also has a boot that you can put around it to protect and keep neat. Like a boat Bimini top. 54CC0ACF-D415-47E5-834C-A00C710DB8F7.jpg EC3A1051-93E0-40C6-8D26-80BC24526E71.jpg

Looking good. Do you have a build thread somewhere?

Can you provide more info on tire size and lift used? Also, what did you do to the bumpers and all the chrome?

Busy weekend so far. Added a console safe (and trimmed the organizer to fit), mounted an inverter behind the rear seat, and made a battery hold down that I could attach a fuse to.

I saw it in another thread on here. It's actually for the double cab, but almost fits perfectly on the Crewmax. It sticks to the rubber trim but is 1/2 inch too narrow, so the sides had a slight gap. Someone in the forum modified it to be in channel.

I got it on Amazon. Tundra Rear Window Visor

Project 1 - Installed center console wireless charger. Easily done in 30 minutes as indicated by others.

Project 2 - VLED leds added to 3rd brake light and bed lights - fabulous improvement! 5 minute install.

Project 3 - Installed Diode Dynamics behind grill dual 12" LED light bars.

Would have been really fast plug n play install BUT three issues. (1) The plug n play high beam adapter does not fit the 2020 Platinum. We shall see if DD has a new adapter and will provide. (2) The brackets are too short and do not have enough height to permit alignment in the center grill "empty slot" of the Platinum grill - no reason for DD not to increase length by 2 inches to permit proper alignment. Next image shows standard bracket alignment that in my opinion looks silly with the gap above it.

The brackets are well made and a very nice product. They are designed to lean one way. I note that DD tells you to mount the outside brackets leaning to the front as seen in the next image. This is when I went back and took pictures to help others on this simple plug n play mod because it does not work well.

This is bad advice / poor instructions because of the curvature of the grill. I think both of these issues are in part because of interference with the horns. I turned the horns 180 degrees to avoid interference with the light bars. I added simple extension brackets to increase the height of the brackets to permit alignment in the "empty slot". I switched the outside brackets to lean toward the engine to permit the grill to fit back on without fighting the lights.

Aligned lights and put the grill back on after project 4. I cannot solve the high beam plug n play adapter so I am left with a switch by the battery. Please help Diode Dynamics and correct this problem.

Project 4 - While I had the grill off the truck, I added the front camera and will later get the FRAC harness done. Following great advice from @InTheRough I used 1" aluminum angle and created a hanger for the camera on the grill install.

Adhered to grill with 3M VHB after shaving down lip as recommended by @InTheRough.

I wrapped the excess wire up behind the TSS and left the coupling for the camera at the same point as the coupling for the TSS in order to permit later separation of the grill. (By the way - the TSS coupling wire is a tight fit.)

Final outcome is that the camera is not very noticeable.

Now I need to find time to finish the FRAC install and wash it so I can start driving it. Only 68 miles at this point.
