Nice job with the red accents and that hockey stick shift knob is the cherry on top!

Yeah I think the CB +1 advertise .625 lift which would be perfect as I have about 1/2” of front lift left in my Toytecs and that would g leave about 1/2” of forward rake. So when towing should be about level.

Kind of both. This site has a plethora of DIY write-ups/resources that I have used along with just general experience.

This project is just a daisy-chain of LED’s hooked up to together. That I will later connect to a switch in the dash... this afternoon. I am just taking my time with it though.

I have the box all wired-up and now am routing the wiring in the truck...

Pictures of the front of the truck with the new tow hooks don't look so good. I think it's the lighting. I'll try again when the lighting is better.

Installed the Helmholtz resonator on my Dirt Deeds 10” system. I drove without it for a couple of months and the drone wasn’t bad at all but it was there. Completely gone now! I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical but am so happy I installed it now.

Got the truck about a month ago. I've been busy with work and I was finally able to schedule an appointment to get the running boards installed that I ordered. I went with OEM Stealth boards in black.

I put White Knuckle Rock Sliders on my 2018 DC today. Well mostly. I still have nine holes to drill.

Are those OEM halogen lights? I didn't know they made black housings for those. I thought it was just the new 2019 LEDs that had the black housing option

I feel your pain brother Sandlapper.
I did the same thing couple of weeks ago but it wasn't a forest service road. I learned a long time ago when the Forest Service closes a road they do it with intent. Up here in the Sumter forest I had to come out a horse trail years ago because there was no turning around.

It's been a few weeks in the works, but I finally got around to doing some easy/diy stuff to my truck. When I first got the truck, it had all the badges, stickers, etc, fender flares, and factory running boards. I was never a fan of any of these, and finally pulled the trigger on deleting all of them. I just decided to make time to do it. Also added tie downs in the bed. The two sets that come in there are nowhere near enough and never in the right spot it seems. Big thanks to @harrydunn for the help with that. And finally, deleted some chrome from the tail pipe.

    Before:
    Screenshot_20200605-232230_Gallery.jpg
    After:
    20200718_100129.jpg
Also added tie downs to the bed bolts. Just did the one at first to see how I like it. I've went back and done the others since.

    20200718_100149.jpg
I added the same hooks into the threaded holes in the side of the bed as well. I don't intend on putting too much pull on them until I get a better system set up, but this gets me out of a bind.

    20200718_100200.jpg
And changed the factory exhaust tip out for a black one. After cutting the tail pipe back (explained in another post), the chrome tip was shining out from the wheel well. This has fixed that wonderfully.

    20200718_100310.jpg

That was a lot, but thanks for reading:hattip:

Installed diode dynamic fogs. Very impressed. 200 bucks but so much brighter than the Oem LED ones.

While doing maintenance on the camper, i added 1 more shim to the WDH. That brought the front down an 1/8" and raised the rear 3/16". The front is now the same height measurement to the fenders with or without the trailer. The rear is down 1" now with the trailer. Had to borrow my dad's 3/4" socket set and my great grandfathers crescent wrench to loosen the hitch bolts

Finally installed my 6” dumped dirty deeds exhaust...been sitting too long in the garage. Work, school n side business are to blame.
What a difference, really “pops the cork” on the V8. Good rumble on start up, not raspy and minimal drone.

Most of all... no “whup whup whup” on freeway.

Dunno why I didn’t do it sooner, start to finish took about 1 hr by myself.
