Honestly not sure if they hang lower than stock but they're definitely wider. The rears took some modifying to fit. I tried making the fronts work, but gave up due to the closeness with my wheel, tire, and suspension combo. I'd probably pass on them unless you're stock or nearly stock with tire size and offset. Not worth the price to me.

I must have had the mother of all tailwind. Usually the light is on 20 miles ago. I've never had anything like 299.2 trip with 83 DTE (I have the little tank)

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
All in due time sir. All in due time.
I told the wife I’d pay the truck down a bit before going crazy on mods.
I also have to get back to the Camaro project. It been sitting way to long, I’m behind and I’m being heckled by the wife about it too.

if I could just win the lottery...

Took less than 45 min to install. Just need another person to lift it into the bed once assembled.

Pulled the 21 Foot Whaler nicely.. but the MPGs hurt. Worth every mile.

I received the AJT chrome delete mega kit for my interior for Father's Day, got it all done in black except for the 4x4 knob. I struggled with trying to get the original out, it was last on my to-do list so got frustrated and called it a day. :angrygirl:

Any tips or tricks on how to get the original knob out of the dash after you pull out the center piece? I watched the AJT vid and about killed my finger.

That was a tough one to squeeze your hand into from the climate control area. I used a very small screwdriver I could manipulate with just my thumb to pop the one tab . Then it was a little easier to get the other side .

If I remember right I used a screw driver like the video to release the bottom tab, then pushed down on the top tab with my finger. Was a pain in the ass until I figured it out. Once that was removed it was a bigger pain to swap pieces for me. Took the most time out of all the AJT stuff.

i drilled a 1/2” hole on the inside of the radio surround to be able to get a finger or screwdriver in. it’s inline with the knob.
It is covered when all in back together and worked great

I really like your set up, it looks great. Have you thought about adding airbags to the rear? It will really help compensate for the add weight and it dosen't cost that much.

I have been thinking about airbags, I had a ton of shit in the bed that you can’t see in the pics. I’m sure it would really help for these trips!

Good video, thank you! That might be a bit too much effort to just get the 4x4 knob out and replaced so I think I'll just take the ol' sawzall and make the notch on the right side of it larger. :sawzall:

My only reservation with airbags is that I do some low range wheeling with my tundra, and I’m concerned that airbags will reduce suspension articulation. Does anyone have experience with this that would like to weigh in?

    Function before sparkle.
Combined with Daystar cradles no downward articulation is lost.
