I haven’t had any condensation issues with Nilight’s bars yet. I did swap out the hardware with SS, and you can’t overtighten or you’ll strip out the threads.

I drove the 20 Platinum maybe 10 miles today. Took the dog so she could get some good scents. Right out of the neighborhood, there is a sheep farm, so the old dog had her fun for the day. Dropped off a bunch of accumulated card board at recycling center and the enjoyed the rumble of the TRD exhaust with all the windows down. Noticed a Raptor nearby and the exhaust of the v-6 TT is horrible! The stock exhaust on my 98 Ranger 3.0 has a way better than the 3.5 Turd.

Where did you order your Rough Country seat covers from? Last I looked, it was going to be the end of May before they shipped from the RC website. Also, could you post some pictures of the fit? I've been looking at them for a while, but they are considerably cheaper than most other quality set and I was hoping the quality didn't suffer.

For what it’s worth, I love my MX4 and had no issues with install. In my experience thus far, it’s been very durable and I’ve had no problems with water getting in the bed. I do live in Arizona though, so the rain isn’t a common problem

Thanks. Unfortunately you can’t just by the insert or get the PRO insert with the chrome surround. I did have to pop out the grill insert from the surround for the PRO grill as well as my stock grill and then swap them. I ordered the color matching black grill/surround from @Roman from this forum along with the headlights, figured if I ever want to get rid of the chrome I could always swap it back and buy the black bulge. Taking the PRO insert out was a pain, but if you take your time you can do it, most people break a tab or two (not the end of the world if you do) but I was able to remove without breaking anything (the ones on the corners were the biggest PITA, had to slightly cut the locking tab to be able to pop it out). The connection from my stock setup was created a little differently (no rear locking tabs) so this one just popped out with a little pressure. Overall it took me less than three hours to swap the grill, headlights, and fog lights. Thanks.

no beach driving. While the DC area does salt the roads, we only had one snow this year which was 1 inch. I heard the highway dept doesn’t need to order salt for the 20-21 winter due to little use.

Maybe the finish/coating was rushed on mine? Looks like I’ll be checking every 6 months....

If it holds up like my old one I will be content. For me I will be using the bed as luggage storage when my family and I use it. And there are times I will fill the bed with garbage /construction debri and what not. The Bakflip definitely saved the rear window on my Tacoma quite a few times due to my stupidity.

Check out the Extang with the canvass cover...I believe signature series. For the price that was a great cover. You have to remove the entire top to get full bed access. The attachment handles were a little fun too but overall an awesome cover.0DBEB918-F2EB-4B31-8D24-2ABBA2130097.jpg

The first of probably a many mods. The TRD Pro Grille replacement. I was torn between this and the honeycomb grille but I really like this look. Ordered from Cool Springs from Roman. Front-Grille3.jpg

well i started out on 5100’s getting them installed for about $550 and then moved to 6112’s but the thing I like about these Toytech is that they are adjustable while in the truck. So I have about another 1” of lift that I can go if I want to do a true 3/1 at some point....the Bilstein are set adjustments and have to be removed to do that. I got up the courage to do it myself with the help of a friend so do that and put the cost of the install toward better equipment....if you have a jack that will lift the wheels off the ground and good jack stands then it’s a pretty straight forward....the hardest thing is getting the lower control arm bolts loose and then getting them re torqued to specs. But if you decide to do it my advice would be removing the sway bar before getting it up in the air and then put it back on after setting it back down.

Grill/bulge swap. Went from chrome to white. Got the grill off and swapped without unplugging the tss sensor. Used a dremel to cut the clips holding on the emblem without breaking the stud.

UCA’s were not recommended for this setup....I have the factory’s still on there and it aligned just fine, I’m at right about 2.25” of lift and no issues

Dealer installed TRD dual exhaust system and tonneau cover. Personally installed TRD Pro grille and surround, side mirror caps, and TRD shifter.
Any recommendations for black wheels to go with stock tires? Not looking to lift but may like to change to a more aggressive tire later. Costco has some TNT GRENADE GLOSS BLACK BALL CUT MACHINED for a decent price. Only $100 per wheel more than powder coating price in NoVA.

I like the Aluma series....adjustment is at the top instead of the bottom, a lot easier to work with.

Looks dope! Considering the same tire setup hard with similar wheel offset. What are the lift specs?

That’s good to hear. I’m thinking of uograding to adjustables once my 6112s wear out. Hard for me to visualize looking at the pics, though. I only have experience cranking coilovers from the bottom on another vehicle many years ago. It seems like there’s way more room getting the collar wrench on the bottom, whereas the top mount bracket looks like it would be harder to get in there?

well I don’t have the aluma series, I have the Boss which adjust from the bottom....I can only get at most half a turn on the spanner disc with one bite so just looking at it I only assume that the top adjustment will have more room....the aluma was about $300 more that mine if I remember correctly so went with the boss.
