Blacked out the silver pieces on the steering wheel and installed a 2019 Tacoma leather steering wheel as well. The black chipped in one spot, I'm going to redo it later on. Also, the taco steering wheel I got, came with the controls. So, I swapped out my silver volume button for the black phone button. I know the of you OCD people will flip out, but it looks better than leaving my silver volume button with the black.

I thought about doing the same thing with my volume +/- but just haven't pulled the trigger. Was trying to think of a way to change it to the +/- versus the phone symbols.

Looks great.
I did some color matching this weekend. I tried blacking out the volume button. Didn't like how it turned out. I ended up cleaning it off and shooting it with a few light coats of cement. It's not a complete match to the rest but close enough and you can still see the + and -

Not bad. I’ll PM you some pics of the install. You need contact cement and a heat gun or hair dryer. So you need to be careful since the two don’t mix.

Tell me more about this Alpine touch screen. did you upgrade speakers as welll. I have a 2019 as well and the audio sucks ass! My only complaint.

It’s been only a couple days since the Alpine ILX-F309 HU was installed so I’m still in discovery and tuning mode. I still have the stock speakers on but what a difference! There is definitely a big improvement in sound clarity by just replacing the HU. Alpine speakers/ components will be arriving on Wednesday.

I’m currently working on getting AppleTV and FireStick to work with this HU. Downside... wired CarPlay but still highly recommended.

The anticipated delivery of the stealth light bar for today did not happen. Come to think of it, the Costco TP did not either... Which stinks because the weather is pretty good but will start raining come next week... First world problems, I know.

However, these did come in finally, which I had forgotten about. They had been ordered on the 26th of February. I like them even more than I thought.

I didn’t take a picture put I swapped out the 12v plug on the back of my console with a quick charge dual usb not a perfect fit but still looks and works great. Also did the running lights in the hood bulge and that was an ass pain. The leds I got are dual color amber and white and came in a pack of ten so as soon as I can grab some more wire I am going to use a couple as bed lights since they also fit in the holes that are already there.

Edit: Snapped a quick picture of the 12v dual usb outlet.
