    Thanks!
    I have had a running list of thing I’ve wanted to do. Everything arrived last week and today I had the time to do it all in one shot.
    No wash yet as it’s supposed to rain 48 hours from now.

    Back at it again. 1 more load like this should do it for next year bringing the total to 6 loads. I got lucky with the mild winter to have a decent amount leftover already stacked from last winter. Then I can chill to the fall before I start cutting and splitting again. Once I get this 1 stacked plus 1 more, looks like daddy might even have some time to get some fishing in this spring and summer. Not to mention mods.

    To get rid of it sticking out and hanging down in the way.

    Ran it cut like this on my 10 for 7 years with no issues.

    Lots of guys here dump the exhaust to clean up the look of the truck.

    I did my favorite continuous mod that I do every month. I applied Rain-X to the windows and windshield.

    Something extremely satisfying about water beading off and almost never touching my wipers! I recently switched over the Meguiar's Clarity kit that comes with the compound to remove hard water spots and the sealant (basically rain-x). Love it so far!

    I stopped using it years ago on the windshield b/c it is such a pain to wipe off. I hated having to do multiples passes with a towel to remove the haze. But I use it on the (much smaller) back window and love it there...it stays so much cleaner now.

    Yeah it does really suck. I used to use paper towels then i switched to microfiber cloths. They work better but still a pain. Yesterday was the first i've put it on the back window. Ever since i got my tonneau cover, it's been a mess when it rains. Hoping the rainx fixes that.

    Absolutely! Even in really heavy rains, it makes a huge difference. Do you like the Mequiars better than the rain-x?

    @Jaypown
    As of now yes, but I think it might be because I got the glass cleared up with no water spots and/or haze. The sealant smells and applied very closely similar to the Rain-X. The weather has been kinda weird lately and hasn't really rained much on it, but when I did it to my wife's van, it seemed to function the same. I usually apply only about once every 6 months and it works well the whole time. We are garage kept vehicles, so that may contribute. But even before we had a garage, I still only needed to apply about once every 6 months. As of now, Meguiar's has been on for about 6 months on her van and doing well.

    I'm almost out of my Rain-x so I might give that one a try. I started off using the spray but it didn't last long. Maybe a week. The smaller bottle works a lot longer. I have noticed though the more you use windshield wiper fluid, the shorter life span it has on the windshield.

    I bought the kit off AutoGeek, but I think Amazon has it too. Kit has compound, sealant, and applicator for both. Compound is EASY on an off. Sealant is similar to rain-x. I use paper towel to put on, simple MF towel to take off, then come back with a higher psm MF cloth for a last polish. Kit was $15 and I did all wife's van windows, my windows, and prob still have plenty to do all of them about 5-10 more times. It goes a long way like the Rain-X small bottle does. I also use Rain-X wiper fluid in my windshield washer reservoir, so that may be why it lasts a bit longer.

    Ok I need some advice from the alignment gurus here....getting ready to install my Toytecs and I think I have the shop selected for the alignment but if anyone can provide some guidance as to what the alignment measurements should look like with about 2” of lift then that would be much appreciated!

    not 100% sure how much this can help you, but I brought my last 2 modified tundras to a shop that does it the old school way and have had a lot better luck that way. My 2011 was leveled with pro comp shocks and my 2017 is 6" lifted. brought both to shop that did old school way and no issues either time. again, not sure if it'll help you or not, hopefully so though.

    well I think I have the place picked out so that is a local shop that does lifts, modifications, and fabrication to “off-road” vehicle’s. They have a good reputation and even the guy at Toytec in Colorado knew who they were. Just want to have some ammunition in case things go south and/or they say it can’t be aligned. It was who I was going to have install my coil overs before I worked up the nerve to tackle it myself....looks pretty strait forward but just want to make sure I get it done right!

    Installed the TRD rear sway bar. Took about an hour and a half including cleanup. This made a huge difference in on-road handling.[IMG]
