Started the chrome delete and vinyl wrapped the rear bumper. Made a couple rookie mistakes but still looks damn good IMO. I’ll try post the complete rear tomorrow. Had to stop and didn’t finish until dark.

Today the beast got a bath...didn’t soap up the wheels; pressure wash only. This shit was like cement. Love dirt; hate mud. Next time I might drive the extra 7 miles and go out of my way to get food.

I just plan on carrying gear. I haven’t really given much thought to a rtt yet. Here are some pics, sorry If they aren’t the best. I currently have the fishing rod holder, high lift jack, traction pads, and an awning.

I have the same lift. Did you have to do anything special to use the TRD front sway bar or did it just bolt right up?

Had the bed sprayed with line-x.
I'm somewhat surprised they didn't spray the hooks. Do you think I should have them sprayed or leave them as is?

I had the Arma Coating completed recently and they definitely sprayed my hooks. They also sprayed the bed bolts on mine as well but left the tailgate bolts un-coated. I like that the hooks and bed bolts are coated for that extra protection. But you should be fine either way. It is more about aesthetics for you at this point most likely. The black makes that bed pop though. Looks good!

it was fairly easy. You just have to make sure you have the right tools and equipment. Or just have a reputable shop do it.

Left is the envelope holder with a 3D printed mount. Second is a full piece 3D printed to replace the whole envelope holder. A little concerned as they say 3D prints don’t hold well on heat but we will see how that works out. Not my designs. I got fortunate to get hooked up.

I just want to use the dead space that is that paper holder. If I put more than three things in it the whole clip pops off

Looks great! PLA won't work for the hot temps inside a car but if it's printed from ABS or PETG you'll be just fine. Did you print this or did you purchase it? If you purchased it you should ask them which plastic they used just so you know.

Sorry to hear but yeah that isn't going to work too well inside a hot car. The problem is the glass temperature of PLA is really low which also makes it a great cheap plastic to use for 3d printing. It'll work for a while but you'll notice it start to sag and deform as time goes on. In Arizona that might be a month or 2 in the summer and in Maine it might be ok for a year. PLA is also super easy to print with compared with ABS and others since it shrinks less as it cools. ABS is a pain to print with since you need to factor the shrinkage in (hehe) for the final part. PETG and some others are good high temp filaments and some are easy to print with like PLA but cost more $$$.

Darn it! He’s the only one I know with a 3rd printer. Now what to do, what to do? Oh well I’ll still instal it and then see what I can do about getting something else made. Thanks for the info!

If he has the file for it you could find somebody with a printer for the proper material and get it printed.
