What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Had my 17’ CM bed sprayed with a local company that specialize in heavy duty coatings. LiquidLiners used a product called US Linings. Looks great, thick coat and warrantied for the life of the truck. This replaces my plastic bed liner that became cracked and brittle.. www.uslinings.com

$ 350. I removed the plastic bed liner dropped off the evening before. They prepped bed, sanded and sprayed 2 coats all over and thicker on bed.Took them 4 hours or so.. Well worth it since the DIY coatings were about $100-$150 for product. Then the prep, masking off, spraying and sweat equity etc. Weill see how long it holds up.

 

Installed my Raptor style grill and added an Autobot emblem to it.

I paid around $100 for my all black TRD shift handle, so I don't think it's that much more for a painted custom handle. I've seen all types of shifters that I personally feel don't match the interior of the Tundra, but as long as the owner is happy, that's all that matters. It's my opinion but not my truck. I say you do what you want as long as it makes you happy.

Installed my Viair compressor in the engine bay using one of @Bannock452 's mounts. Had to drill a couple extra holes in the mount since it's designed for an ARB compressor but it works just fine

The other day I installed the 2.5 gallon air tank in the bed of the truck over the drivers side wheel well. Hopefully we'll get a nice day soon without rain so I can wire up the electrical and route the air lines.

 

Put paint matching SSM mirror caps on!

 

Installed some OEM 2018 LED fogs today.

Still waiting for my 2019 TRD Pro headlights so I can change this grill as well.

 

I fully expect that not everyone will be a fan of this and I bought 6000k pure white as well in case I also get tired of the blue but I did a full interior swap (minus footwell lights because I'm waiting for the VLED kits to come in) today. Right now, I'm a really big fan of the blue with the badgeless white truck and grey interior. We'll see how long I like it before I decide to change over to the pure white. ((I apologize for the potato pictures. It's like 0 degrees outside and I was in shorts and just wanted to grab a few quick pictures. I'll get some better ones soon))

Yes, it is from a Tacoma. My interior is grey/black as well and I was looking at the white stitching boot to match my stitching. I’m. It sure if I’ll stay with red yet. The boot is cheap if I decide it isn’t my thing. Was also thinking about coloring the thread black if I got annoyed with it. I’m looking at covering my center in black leather to match the shifter. It is grey leather rn.

The lock for the floor mat came with it. They are Husky brand. It’s a screw on the bottom that screw into stock floor mat and then that is threaded on top. It sticks through the floor mat and secured like you see.

 

Finally installed my BD Squadrans...sheesh, they are SUPERIOR to OEM...
