I might have actually been doing 90+, but yes, the truck didn’t like that and I thought I broke something……. But that’s something to say about hauling ass with a loaded truck and a boat full of other camping shit; still wanting to go faster

Thank you, I had mine assembled so I have no box to look at. Or sku. All I have is this sticker on the shockIMG_3414.jpg and when I look that number up it definitely doesn’t come in a box with 47-310049 or UPC of 651860868752. So I think either it’s the right shock body and nobody has ever labeled it or I’m getting the wrong part/same part different label? This isn’t my box it’s just the only one I could find online that matched. IMG_3412.png

Well, here's a first. Pods were supposed to be here on Friday. But now, no telling when they'll get here because "train fail". What the hell?

@Bed Tundy can confirm. I got the kit in the box labeled 47-310049 and sure enough, the unassembled strut body shows 24-310055 on it. So I think you got the right thing here.

    IMG_2327.jpg'

And here's the original box that shock came in (well, it was box-in-box, so it was inside its own box, but inside this box, y'know?). Note the label - it shows both p/n!

I chickened out before I found the governor the other night. First time I been over 95... 105 was fun. Speedo goes to 110. :monocle:

But this was in my 03 with stock gearing and tires.

Did you have a GPS telling you your actual speed?

Got some test fitting done, all seems to be in order, guess I can get the 285s mounted on these Rocktrix wheels. Note the framerail rub. I'm definitely rubbing harder on the passenger side than the driver's.

Cap on these wheels is just shy of 77mm, basically 3", which is interestingly the same size Enkei wheels uses. Curious if anyone makes a Toyota wheel cap in that size? Not interested in rocking the Rocktrix caps, even if it's only temporary.

Wish the smoked machined finish on these was a little darker, it'd look awesome on the Limited trim trucks. Not that I want it to be permanent. but the smoked color they painted the bead with would look superb, very OEM+

For whatever reason, when I had 265 75 16s on my truck, only the passenger side rubbed.

I've never rubbed the frame on 255s. Only the pinch weld and liners.

Your truck doesn't look like it has an inch to spare with that front garage wall there.

Thank god, I spent 4+ hours on Bilstein's site and international catalogs trying to find this part. They do an awful job providing their data and all the part numbers are unsearchable. Also last night before bed I saw the newest 6112 post and am happy to have this nonsense put to rest about the height and c-clip settings. I am also set on #6/#4 and will provide my post 6112 lift numbers. (I'm already lifted so no pre-lift, but it should confirm the standard hub/fender distance for 6112's)

Got the third brake light wired and installed on the camper. I tried to keep the wires as clean as possible but I’m gonna have to think of a better solution for the inside so they’re not sticking out of the bed side hole. I have them taped up to follow the window railing so they’re not hanging there but I don’t like them sticking out of the side when I open the camper IMG_0157.jpg IMG_0158.jpg IMG_0151.jpg IMG_0152.jpg IMG_0154.jpg
