Problem is it's not a 6-sided hex, literally a rectangle. Will a small wrench fit and hold?

If it's not too loose it should work. Think of a square plug oil drain on a mower. The wrench only grabs onto 2 sides there too. Just find a small wrench that fits nice and snug.

You don't have to go Hulk on the top nut. Just tight enough to squish the rubber to almost the size of the washer pieces. Doesn't require 400 foot lbs.

You could always try a "shock absorber socket". They are for the rectangular tops.

If we’re talking 4600s, then yes but the wrench is 3.5 inches long.

As someone who's yoyo'd 100lbs+ on three separate occasions in the last 18 years, point about losing weight too fast and loose skin still stands. It's not the drugs fault is my point. It's pretty normal.
Most people that lose a ton of weight end up with extra skin and lots of people tend to say they look sickly.

When I lost 100lbs in high school through jogging every day, people started rumors that I was sick and/or on drugs.

About the weight loss topic, i started intermittent fasting a couple years ago which has really helped me manage my weight. Basically eating during an 8 hour window and then not eating for 16. Its actually quite easy once you get used to it.

Not only did it help me lose weight but it really makes you much more comfortable with being a little hungry and you realize often hunger is just a sign you are thirsty and drinking some water satisfies that hunger craving.

Also, it made me stop all the snacking that we do, watching a movie or whatever and made me just stick to 2 meals a day. Been doing this for a couple years and its easy as hell now and I feel good! Just throwing that out there in case you guys havent tried it!

I'll 2nd this one... I've never been a huge fan of all the fad diets, and while this one could also be considered 'fad' this type of diet really does more than help you lose weight. One of the reasons (other than genetics) that diabetes and other food based diseases grab ahold of you is when your liver and bloodstream are constantly (24hrs a day) fighting to rid itself of fat and toxins. Eating like this gives your body a chance to finally purge the gunk out of the bloodstream (and do it on a daily basis) which makes you less likely to develop diabetes; makes your body more accustomed to using stored fuel sources (burning fat, etc.); and helps your digestive and colon health as well. I find when running my meals like this, I'm generally much less bloated and I don't watch calories so much (gotta still keep it reasonable)...

Speaking of liver and toxins... There's a reason why eliminating alcohol is a must do when really trying to lose weight (regardless of what program you are following), and it's more than just 'empty calories'... The liver perceives alcohol as a poison or toxin, and therefore it prioritizes getting rid of it before eliminating other things in your system. IE>>> The liver will work to eliminate alcohol long before it processes fat and carbs. This is one of the reasons hard core alcoholics end up w/liver issues. It's also the reason why you can eat a fairly clean diet, but if you're drinking 'a lot' you'll still end up w/a fatty liver (high triglycerides and have your LDL and HDL out of whack)....

You should still eat reasonably 'clean' when you can, but as I started getting older into my late 30s, 40s and early 50s I found that what I did in the past simply wasn't working (regardless of the amount of energy output I had)... I'm usually running something similar to this, and it's made 'staying in shape' a bit easier in my later years

I have so much to say on this it's not really even worth getting started, but...

Weight isn't an issue for me, which is both good and bad. Gaining weight is a good feedback mechanism. Those of us who don't gain weight aren't necessarily healthier, we just don't have the weight gain to show something's off. It'll show up in lab results, brain function, disease.

    Two things.

    1. There's no 'one size fits all'. Intermittent fasting, carb restriction, different diets. What works for one person could wreck another. Need to experiment.
    2. It's all connected. Everything in the body is connected. Hormones determine whether your body decides to pack the calories you eat into fat stores, or burn it as energy. Hormones are affected by food, stress, exercise etc. An undiagnosed food intolerance can show up as an autoimmune disease. Then docs will treat it with drugs when really you just need to change your diet.

It's ridiculously complicated but worthwhile to dig in and experiment. Something is changing, maybe with our genetics, maybe the food supply, probably both, but food intolerances and autoimmune disease is way more common than it used to be. Many of us are having our health chipped away at, without knowing, by eating things that mess us up. Mildly mess us up, but it's the death by a thousand cuts.

And yeah, alcohol and weight. It's amazing how fast some people will drop 10 pounds with just minor changes to their drinking. Like still drinking nearly every night, but just not going to the brewery on the way home from work anymore. 2-3 less beers each night, even if they still drink some beer that night.

Doesn't matter what anyone says: alcohol is a poison. I drink, but I don't fool myself that "well one or two is actually healthy". I see the social aspect of having a community, social support, good times with friends as a balance to the damage alcohol does. It's not required that you drink in order to have community, but for a lot of people, their social group centers around drinking. People who are isolated socially die younger. Remember...it's all connected. I think having a couple drinks with good friends is overall healthier than not drinking at all but socially isolating yourself.

Recently I heard or read that the reason it's called intoxicated is because it's a toxin. Can't believe I made it this far in life without making that connection.

I must have been lucky in that vice grips worked for me, no problem. But I have very, very little rust.

Welp, another annual(ish) visit from my old friend P0328, knock sensor circuit "high" for bank 1, with a quick fun foray into limp mode. Once again, it hit me within 2 miles of a cold start, in the morning, and yet again this popped exactly when I jumped on the gas to accelerate. Was really fun trying to get up to speed on the interstate when the truck won't go over 2,000 RPM and/or shift into higher gears. I had to get the kid to camp, so I couldn't pull off to clear the code. Managed to plug in my OBDLink MX+ to connect and confirm while driving down the interstate, pull the code, then exit, clear it, andthe truck drove totally normal as usual. Put on a solid 60 miles after, no more code. Engine is NOT knocking, so I know it's something related to the sensor or a harness.

1st time it happened 3/4 mile from the house, accelerating from a stop sign back in 2022.
2nd time it happened 3 blocks from the house, turning onto the main road and accelerating because a stream of traffic was coming.
Today it happened 1.5 miles from the house, accelerating from a traffic flow stop light for an interstate on-ramp.

I see a pattern forming here ... and suspect this is entirely wiring and/or sensor failure related, maybe the piezo in the sensor is fucked, since I don't think there's a way coolant can be squirting over that way.

That said, I guess I need to charge up the snake came and feed it under the intake and see if there's any obvious wiring issue. Maybe harness is damaged and periodically shorting, or it acquired mice with the previous owner, or at the dealership? No way in hell mice are nesting up in it now.
