Unless you're positive you damaged the threads I doubt you need to replace the spindles. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question. When I snapped my LBJ bolts I just bought new bolts and sent it. No issues now. It's been almost 4 years.

yea but if he did fxxx the threads and plans on helicoiling or something. I’d rather just replace the spindle and have peace of mind. My advice is referring to the removal of material if he planned on going that route

Gotcha. I agree, our clunkity-claks are different. Maybe your inner tie rods need work? How are the CVs?

My sAmazon-knock-off-gopro is showing up today! Gonna drive around the block like a crazy person until I get what I want.

Agree 1,000% Helicoil isn't a reasonable fix for that situation.

I can't recall if I took pics of the pads. the pads have risers on them, not sure if BQ'ing some shims on would do it. I swore there were shims when I had the knuckles (thus calipers) off to pop the UBJ out, but when I was in there this time, nope. I may just go back to OEM pads. I'm not sure.

Mine may be different. I pulled my entire swaybar trying to track down the fucking clunks. No change. I'm at a loss. It sounds honestly like something isn't greased. but I know it's not my UBJ, I actually had to clean grease away from those bastards this weekend b/c I overgreased previously.

Yeah I don't think it's the sway bar either, just reaching out for low hangin fruit at this point. Hoping the camera gets here while there's still some daylight.

Well let's see what I did today, i got an alignment done, i got the inspect redone and passed, I got my truck "re legalized" for another year, aka I was robbed of 10.50, and then I drove it for 150 miles, in total.

So those KSP UCAs officially can have a report made on them and the report is positive. The ride quality is absolutely Head and Shoulders above how it was with the factory upper control arms in there with the two inch leveling kit. There's no more ball joint squeak, there's no more Tire squeak, cornering is equal amounts of grip on either side now. Meaning the truck turns in at the same rate either on the left or right hand turn ins. Potholes are completely different like you know you hit a pothole but it's completely smoothed out, my passenger side spring is no longer touching or rubbing on the hub arm so that noise is gone. So for 250 to 300 bucks depending on your shipping rate I would say that the ksp's seem like they're a pretty good deal thus far at 150 miles. Still new so more reports to come at 500

That seems like the right order, but who knows if owner #5 put the rears in on mine correctly....

    Nah, not a shitshow thread.

I think everyone is pretty much an adult here. As long as you avoid politics, religion, gov't, and public health chatter (any/all are super polarized topics for the variety of members we have and will get you banned STAT) people will decide whether to enjoy. You may land yourself on someone's ignore list if you stir the pot intentionally or call people out directly. There's a rule against insults, goading, that kind of thing. We all try to keep it friendly. Even if that guy @bmf4069 is a big jerk head meanie guy.

But there are better forums for trolling and bullshit. The Green Room is one such subforum: https://www.tundras.com/forums/the-green-room.94/

Yup, that little inner lip is showing in the diagram above. I didn't catch it at first when installing my 5100s out back and had to go look up the diagram above. Lots of threads all over the internet asking the same; you, me, Bill and others arne't the first.

Easiest shocks i've ever done, more than enough thread to get the bushings & everything on.

& i seem to have gained 1/2" in the rear, even though my measurement in the 'how big is yours' thread. And i didnt have the cap or wood floor in the back.

I did the TPMS ground yesterday and now the TPMS light is gone AND my check engine light is gone. I don’t know if I should be worried or elated cause it’s the first time in like 8years this truck didnt have those 2 lights on.

As long as you don't have codes set, you should be fine. I'd check. If shorting that line causes the CEL to go off while codes are set, that's a big f'n problem. Was your TPMS light flashing or solid? I know how to get it to stop flashing. I can point you to more info.

Just remember to re-adjust (back off) the top nuts if/when you lift the rear.

‘Twas solid good sir. Honestly the truck is running completely fine. Unless there is something underlying you may know of. I think I’m gonna let the bitch ride.

What codes were set previously that triggered the CEL?

As long as code reader comes back clean, I think you're golden. But if you ever want to clear a flashing TPMS light, there's details on how to do exactly that, over here
