Washed, clayed after with a fine mitt and quick detailed after. Truck was paint corrected & ceramic coated last year with crystal serum ultra. I use all Gtech products. I love how easy it is to wash and keep the vehicle clean now, truck has almost 60,000 miles and looks brand new still. I love it.

Washed up and ready for the real work. 1.5 hrs or so to wash 2x and decon the rinse due to sun and clouds moving making me find a tree for shade. Turned my wash mitts black soot looking. Been sitting for 2 years...I don't know how I get myself into these ...this is before the washing

It is slick, that was actually the first time I've used it. Mother in law snagged it for me!

I personally hate CG after a bad customer service experience. Some of their products are decent, but most are gimicky!

Looks great. Did you end up needing to clay? what type of clay product did you use? being as it's dark colored did you notice any added marring after claying? I tend to only clay if I'm gonna polish for this reason. Doesn't matter what I use mitt, clay, towel and a whole 32oz bottle of onr x2 always seem to notice something.

I did not notice any. I used Adams Clay Mit (it’s their least abrasive one). I used the foam and soap from the bucket as lubricant as it makes it go by a lot faster than over detail spray. They (Adams) recommend claying every 3-4th wash to remove any contaminants. I figured I’d boost it while I’m at it to compare how the boost does next wash over when it was not boosted (it’s been about a year since I did ceramic)

Spent a little time on the better half's Altima. Been neglected for about a year. No completed shots but have a 50/50 of the hood before hitting the passeger side (roof looks like the passenger side - nasty).

Totally tell you clayed the hood. Water beads up better just after claying. Black is a mf'er. I'm curious if you created any love marks. Looks good though

Just out of curiosity.....a couple of questions....First....no chemical decon to go along with the clay bar/mitt process? Second....why go through the entire process only to finish with the product that will last the shortest amount of time?

First....no chemical decon to go along with the clay bar/mitt process? - Time & location. I don't work in the sun\hot surfaces. I also do not have a garage, car port or canopy. We had plans later that day and she wanted to use the gas miser instead of the wagon. Plus, she likes to take it to the ol' rub-n-scrub against my advice, annnnd, I was trying some new products.

Second....why go through the entire process only to finish with the product that will last the shortest amount of time? Again, time and space. If we had a garage I would have done a deeper dive. Also not going to spend a ton of time\energy on failing paint. Nissan's QC is not very good. Paint failed from the jamb and is now working onto the surface as seen in the picturess Trunk, quarters and front fenders all need a respray. Nissan will not warranty their paint. 30k miles on the clock. SMH.

A couple of weeks ago my 17 yo son (who is detailing car interiors) accidentally broke the top cap on a gallon bottle of car wash soap.

Fast forward to late last week. After detailing a car (at their house) and coming home, he forgot the bottle of soap in his car. Went on an errand, came home and backed the car up our driveway. As it turns out, he didn't know the bottle had tipped over. So essentially, he spilled ahair under a gallon of CG Honeydew Snow Foam soap in the back seat carpet of his car....and didn't realize it for a couple of days.

He felt  and I was :rofl:

    So yesterday he did this:

Took a whole lotta time and water water to get out that soap out of the carpet/jute. Had a large stream of foam going down the gutter on our block. All the little kids came out and played in it.
