This is where I get my fuel too. They just put one in right down the street from me. New tanks, new clean pumps, and really good prices. I am still too cheap to pony up for the ethonal free though. Notice any improvements?

Yeah, no more water absorbing ethanol in my gas tank. Remember, my 5.7L is non flex fuel. Likes 100% Dino juice. Best mod to my truck by far. Corn needs to be used to feed humans and cattle..not tax payer subsidized corn ethanol, meaning not profitable without subsidy. Not in my Tundras' fuel tank. Don't even mention corn syrup in soda....heh...heh. Where did Maverick start from? Definitely new here in CO. Was kind of impressed actually.

I agree with you, corn should only be used for food and whiskey. I hope you don't drink light beer, corn is what makes it "light."

My truck is non flex fuel also so I will have to try it out on my next fill up. I think Maverik is from UT but I could be wrong. They have built 4 in my area in the past couple years. Definitely one of the nicer gas stations.

What the Hell is light beer? Never heard of it...sarc...Corn whiskey...OK although I quit drinking hard liquor after I left the Gyrine Corps. The only thing I want light is my MagLite.

I'm on my first tank of gas and had the dealership put in 91 octane while they were paying. I'll probably switch to 87 based on the manual and the experiences of others on the Tundra forums.

Wow, I’m surprised that all these guys who love their trucks wouldn’t put 91 in them.

Always Shell and always 91. I don’t think I’ve ever put anything less than that, I guess I’m wasting my money.

I have not tried 93 in the Tundra when towing. I bought my bay boat in La. and towed it home 6 hours with the Tacoma. I filled up with 87 before picking the boat up. On the first tank I ran 9 mpg. Next stop I tried 93 and mpgs went to 10. Since I did not break even on cost I have not tried higher octane in the Tacoma figuring I would see similar results.

Im debating on putting 87,89,93. I use to only fuel up in my 08 CM 87. Now that i getting a new truck i wonder if i should go higher. My wifes GX460 asks for premium only wonder why.

87 Octane in my '06 Tundra. Tried running 93 octane for a while, but saw no noticeable difference in performance or mpg, so I went back to 87. In my Xterra I run 93 because if I dont, it's not happy (spark knock) it DOES like 87 ethanol free though, but I have to drive out the ass to get it. Doesn't really add up. Just put the 93 in it.
