I'm getting a solid.....ahh who cares I've got a daily work car. That's where I get my fuel mileage from. In all seriousness though, I think mine stays on 11.4 and my avg mile range per tank is like 430. My foot and ear must be connected too cause my exhaust always seems to prevail everything around me.

Bottom line, we measure fuel economy around here by GPM, not MPG. :D

That was my plan but my wife told me I'm stupid for buying a truck and not driving it. Currently looking to sell my car.

I have horrible gas mileage. I only get about 4-5 steps before I let one rip. All the asparagus.

I'm getting 2.06. As in: two dollars and six cents. A gallon. Gasoline is horribly inexpensive. No need to give two chits or one phvck about mileage. Get in your big truck with the big engine and the big tires and your big attitude and mash that gas pedal BIG time. Look in rear view mirror at the chit eating grin on your mug.

    Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Mods. Go ahead and lock this thread now.:devil:

what is the ground hog day? Why does someone start a new gas mileage thread every day. jesus christ do a 5 second search and you'll find 1000 other threads IDENTICAL to this. Guess what? on all those threads, the mileage hasn't changed.

I mean I drive about 50 miles a day, so it's not exactly cheap to run the tundra full time as my daily, maybe if gas gets, like you said above $3, i'll get an old beater civic to run around a few days a week. Back in 2008, when I was still in high school, I had a 91 accord when gas was $4 a gallon. Talk about being broke in high school using $60 to fill up my gas tank and that thing probably got about 23 mpg lol.

I have a natural gas Honda Civic for the daily. The Tundra is just my fun weekend driver. So I even more so don't care about gas mileage.

My tundra is basically my camping/hunting rig. I use it on the weekends when we think we'll need it and some times just because. Prius is my daily driver for work, as my R/T commute is about 80 miles. I think I only put about 6k miles a year on my truck. Despite that, in So Cal, our gas right now is about $3.70 and I'm getting about 14.5 mpg. sucks. i need to find out how some of you are getting 18+.

I may need a tune up...

Got pure dino 87 for $2.14 today. Some places in downtown Denver is less than $2 for 10% ethanol gas but don't want to waste gas to get gas............

I drive 40 mins to work everyday currently, about 70 miles round trip. So a car is a must. I can’t afford gas for the truck every day. Plus I’ve had the car longer than I have the truck.

Natural gas, yes. Well, CNG. $1.80 roughly last I checked. And it gets 40 mpg. So I dont really care what the truck gets because my car is making up for anything. But the Tundra is so much more fun to drive!

I managed 25.8 mpg last night.

Oh i forgot to mention, I just filled up gas and was following a metro bus going down a slight incline doing 25 in a 35. I was annoyed but I laughed at the mpg.
Quickly dropped back to my normal 14. I bought it knowing I was going to get 14. Therefore I'm happy i'm getting 14 :D

Now if i was getting 10 or less while doing normal driving, i'd look into it more.
