GL450 in the background? My wife found one of those today she liked.
Have you logged very many miles?
I’m trying to keep her in the Toyota/Lexus family but she’s Fing stubborn. :-/

1968 Volvo 220 "Amazon" wagon. Needs a gas tank refinish, but otherwise in great working order and a blast to drive.

550 nice! Cool - thank you! I always worry about straying away from Lexus/Toyota - I’ve maintained our vehicles almost exclusively for 20 years. All the easy stuff doesn’t scare me (engine bolt-ons, brakes, etc) it’s any trans issues or engine internals/turbos where the bill racks up. Nice to know you haven’t had any issues. I read up on the 450 and can’t find too many issues.

Awesome! Thank you!! The wife originally wanted a LR4, and I’ve read a lot of bad on those. She found the GL and has agreed to quit hounding me for a LR4 lol. She’s always wanted a 3rd row “more sporty/off-road type” SUV and there just isn’t many to chose from.
Sequoia is too big, and 4runner too small and not luxurious enough. :-/

I had a GL350 diesel. Kept it for 5 years, no issues. It drives very well as compared to all the chunky SUVs in its class.

Do it! It’s a fun/wheeling rig not a 175mph race car. I don’t think anyone would judge if there were a few booger welds :D
