I'm a firm advocate of safe spaces. I'm very fragile.

I hear the new truck has a 5 Start Crash Rating with the Hybrid package. You should get one.

Well, that'd be a real conundrum for me.

It won't make as many unicorn farts if it's a hybrid

I've had my 2007 Hybrid Lexus RX 400H since new. I like it and still drive it. I will replace it with a 2022 Tundra Hybrid (I Hope). I don't know what you are talking about "Totaled...under performing battery pack"

My wife had a 2006 RX 400H we gave that to our grandson and she replaced it with a Lexus NX Hybrid.

When I was replying against the Prius post, I am correct because Prius used a different battery chemistry.

Many of the more expensive, and the newer hybrids use much better batteries.

I'm surprised no one mentioned that.

It is very true that the Prius can be found dirt cheap with a shot pack.

Also, Toyota may be so close to solid state battery, they may wait until that tech is ready and use it on the Tundra.

We don't know what battery tech Tundra would be equipped with

I was looking, after thinking about replacing batteries, and found this company that replaces Hybrid Batteries. The prices aren't bad considering what the dealer charges. different prices refurbished or new and warranty 2010 Prius battery $995, $1,550, 1,750 2007

    My 2007 Lexus RX400H $1,795, $2,495

They also recycle the batteries and are available for homes, golf carts, etc

I just think it's unfair to analyze something happening in 2020 to 18 year old hybrids with 20 year old tech and assume the same will happen in 2040 to 2022 Tundra Hybrids. Tech and the market have changed.

It would be like me saying I'm not going to buy a 992 Porsche because of the mechanical fuel injection on the '69 911, the turbo on the 930, or the IMS bearing on the 996.

Well, It had most of what I wanted BUT,
    1. I was hoping for a Plug In Hybrid
    2. I wanted a generator like the F150

Don't know what the mileage is yet.

So I'm torn between the F150 and the Tundra because of the Generator.

You can get the f150 for 0% for 72 months in the south right now. Ford told Toyota "welcome to the show" lol
