I tow a 25' Airstream, 7300 lb. max. but most of the time it's around 6600 with a blue ox hitch.

I think the GD Imagine is the best balance of price and quality. Currently on my first out-of-state trip in one. I have seen a TON of these on the road, apparently you are supposed to wave at the other Imagine owners.

Last year's trip was to Yellowstone. Tour of Colorado this year. Sand Dunes, Durango, Telluride, and Buena Vista. Towed the trailer over Million Dollar Highway between Silverton and Ouray. I'll never do that again. 1100 miles.

Haha, too much for comfort or too long for comfort?

I got back from my trip, loved it; truck knocked it out no problem...having only a 26 gallon tank, a SC'r and lots of elevation variations netted me 8.9mpg on interstate at 80mph and 10.6mpg cruising around 70mph on highways...loved it and had zero issues...just the smiles of high power & poor efficiency...

Sorry. I needed a new paragraph. We had an awesome trip. We plan a big camping trip like that each summer and it's so much more fun than flying the family somewhere. Especially now.

We hit a lot of mountain passes, but Million Dollar Highway was the worst. It's terrible, white knuckle towing. We learned later if you fall off in the winter, they start searching for you in April.

Don't take 550 from Durango to Telluride. The Silverton to Ouray stretch is terrifying.

I towed the same Airstream with my Tacoma for six years. Supercharged or not, it would have exploded on this trip. The Tundra was a beast. I'm never giving up this 2018 CM. Same with the 2012 Tacoma.

Madison campground. You have to book sites a year ahead, especially with a trailer. Call instead of doing it online so you can talk about truck and trailer length. Bear came through the campground day before we showed up.

We are in the process of returning from Yellowstone. We stayed at the West Yellowstone KOA just outside the park. They pack em in tight. Not much privacy. Get reservations in advance like it was mentioned.

Took the pontoon up to Pyramid Lake this past weekend. Averaged about 7mpg. I think this pig desperately needs 4.88s to be able to turn all this weight. This wheel and tire combo isn't helping anything either lol.

We managed to find a site without a reservation. It was mid September and arrived early to claim a site. Site was on a major hill but it worked. We stayed two nights.

Its the m33 it is a 2017 and it has been great. Contemplating moving up to a 5th wheel, but not sure I can part with my tundra. The one I want has a hitch weight of 2700 and a gvw of 15000
