Installing these Roadmasters is Super Simple, and they are adjustable. Helpers are NOT.

There are tons of options out there for lifting the rear, or just providing support while towing. It really boils down to personal preference. Air Bags were my first choice, but when I saw the Roadmaster Active Suspension I liked it's "no maintenance" advantage. It's a toss-up for me between the two, I like them both. The Air Bags do allow for way more adjustability for sure.

That's cool, but for me, I like the Roadmasters better if I don't go with Air Bags.

23' Forest River 23MK. To mimic what others have said, the Tundra tows beautifully! So happy with my purchase.

Hellwigs...had them on my tundra as well. Unless you have the static load that requires an extra spring, the ride sucks. Adjusting them also is not user friendly.

This is the ONLY way I would run Air Bags. Otherwise your suspension is limited by the bags being connected top & bottom.

Do you tow the trailer with that back rack folded down & the generator/tank/cooler loaded like that?

My wolf pup didn't come with a rack, I wanted to buy one but just realized looking at your picture, maybe you can't/shouldn't drive with it down?

If so, do you just lower it when you get to camp & set things on it?

that was the first time towing with the my Tundra, once i set the hitch up the right way the back only dropped down about a 1/2 inch. i like the Anderson hitch, this is what i started with, the third time out i didn't like the way it pulled the hills up north, traded in my 3 year old Tacoma with 10000 miles, for the Pro, hardly know your pulling anything now....upload_2020-3-11_20-2-37.jpg

@CO_Native I totally drive with it down and it is 100% rated to do so from the factory. They just say to stay within the weight limit which is 250lbs. I have almost 3,000 miles towing with it just like that. Some of the roads were pretty damn bumpy and I am kind of an impatient driver so I know its sturdy. I have a rear observation camera so when I am rolling down the road I can keep an eye on things back there too for peace of mind. I would highly suggest getting one, it is a great feature to have.

If you're planning to hit Barber some time, let me know. It's only an hour and a half away. I'm looking for a cheapo 600 for trackdays now. I like my 18 R1 too much to wad it up on the track.

Love inshore fishing for Reds, Trout & Flounder. We catch them in 1-3 feet of water in the grass flats. Absolutely love it. I run a 20 FT Shallow Water Tunnel Hull.
