We love it too. Thanks. It's a 2405RL (Rear Living) but they make a rear bunk model shown in the link.

Just a little tractor move. Too bad I don't have pics of the dump trailer I've been hauling with a lot lately.

Got some more camping in with the Black Series HQ15. We managed to drag it to some crazy places :) Three of the four pictures are close to Moab, the last one at night in the snow is in Colorado.

My first long tow (700+ miles) with my 21 footer since I downgraded from a 3/4 diesel. I was very happy with how it handled, a little rev happy on hills, but overall I think a 5-6k load is a perfect match for these trucks.

Nice rig. I'd be more worried about the trailer than anything else. I hate boat trailers. My setup is about the same size and weight as yours. Tundra does it with ease.

Something bad is going to happen if you dunk metal in saltwater enough times. No matter how much maintenance you do. Freshwater only trailers tend to have less issues.

Is it me or is your bed bending in that first picture? Looks like the gap is wider at the top and it’s at a different angle than the cab.

The tongue weight is 600 pounds, overall dry weight of 6,200. It is relatively light for being 32’ hitch to bumper. I did a lot of research, for me Grand Design was the best option that you could tow with a 1/2 ton.

No air bags yet. There isn’t much drop with the WDH but it almost feels like there is a little too much tension on it. I’m new to the large trailer game so I’m still sorting out the details. Based on what I have read I might lighten the WDH a setting and add air bags.

I noticed the same thing. Wasn't sure if it was an optical illusion or not. Would be interesting to know the pin weight on that particular load.

Right on. I had to ask because ~200lbs gas + ~300 passengers + ~200 topper + ~600 trailer + ~100 for wdh can put you over the payload. Seems like you did your homework. Wish I could do the same, but I’ve never been able to find the right combination (my truck has a payload of 1200lbs).

I believe our Tundras payload is based on the SAE format which includes about 400 pounds for passengers and a WDH within the rating.

Yeah, that's definitely a risk if you dont keep an eye on things. I live 10 miles from the ocean but drive 300 miles to take my boat to freshwater. Never been in salt water with it.

Optical illusion. while the trailer is in extremely sad shape after all i've put it through, the steel is still solid. i'll be getting a trailer rebuild thread going soon on ih8mud. new deck, wiring, all new lights, new breakaway setup, clean up all the steel, add a tire carrier, winch and strap storage....

If you know trailers, I’m sure you noticed mine is overbuilt for that boat. I have certainly had some issues with boat trailers in my past, so I had this one built a little stronger than necessary. The only time I havnt had issues was when I bought the trailer new myself and took care of it. I launch almost exclusively salt water, so it’s pretty important to wash every Trip if I want the components to last. Long story short, I also hate boat trailers, but a necessary evil in life they are.
