Mine is a 2006 Sportster SCIC, so it has the 215hp supercharged 4 stroke 4Tec engine in it. I love it. My family is small and this is my first boat so right now it works. It seats 4 and is only 15'4", which make for a nice power to weight ratio, also great for tow sports. You cant capsize the thing either. If I can afford it, in a few years I would like to get a bigger seadoo jet boat. Like a 230 wake or speedster 200. Which speedster are you looking at? 150 or 200?

Is that trailer attached, or is the truck just back up to it?

Just wondering because the truck looks like it sitting nice and level, that trailer must be pretty light on the tongue

I've got a 1000# tongue weight, weight distribution hitch hooked up. I had just unplugged the lights and put the tongue jack down to disconnect. I stopped and took a quick pic of the set up. At its current setting with jack up, the rear end sits 1.5" below unloaded, and the front is just a hair above unloaded.

I think I may be misunderstanding this. When your trailer is hooked up with your WD hitch, it's dropping the rear 1.5" and raising the front a hair? Or its dropping the rear 1.5" and dropping the front just a hair less than 1.5"?

I've found that setting a WD hitch to lower the front and rear suspension roughly the same with slightly more on the rear (less than 1 inch) seems to give the best towing experience. It keeps the front end from feeling light on steering, especially if the front is lifting.
If it works for you and your setup, feel free to ignore me. I've had my fair share of white knuckle experiences while towing with and without WD setups. There's something to be said about a proper WD setup.

No, the back is sitting about 1.5". The front's less than .25". It rides nice and the steering still feels responsive and solid. It's still a work in progress right now. Thanks for the advise though. I still have some fine tuning to do.

33s on the truck, 31 on the trailer. I got the trailer for my old 5th Gen 4R which had 31.5s. Still rides like a charm. Report back after the lift.

I like the way the tires fill the wheel wells on the truck, what exact size are they and do you have any lift on the truck?

Michigan Vacation (2015) 001.jpgWe have towed our 26ft. Sunnybrook from the Carolina's to Maine and the UP of Michigan. The 2000 Tundra has been great except it could use a 5.7L. We would like to tow this trailer with a newer crew max but we are not sure of the feasibility. (cab to trailer clearances) We are using a Reese 15,000 lb. slider hitch. Input is welcome.
