How does she tow? I've been looking at 5th wheels because the Mrs. likes the layout. The one we like is at 7,700lbs and I am quite nervous about pulling the trigger. I'm not sure if it is smart to tow it with a 1/2ton, especially around Las Vegas. There a lot of hills to attack in order to get in/out of the Vegas area.

Towed my other pile out to Moab last week. Hit the CAT scales on the way home. 13,620 lbs total.

Ha. No not at all. We were about 30 miles west of SLC and almost 2:00am. Pulled off the highway where there was a TA and Flying J's. Both were PACKED with semis. This was a short road just off the Flying J's and was so much quieter.

    Invest in a battery tender.
Swap out all the interior lights to LED.
Bleach and flush the freshwater tank and lines and water heater (I personally don't trust previous owners).
Torque lug nuts and check tire pressure.
I'd encourage you to try EVERY feature and function at home before you first trip. Awning, pop out(s), hot water heater, propane fridge, stabilizer jacks, heater, a/c, etc. Nothing worse than going out for a little holiday and realizing the fucking water pump doesn't work when you're 2 hours from civilization.

Thanks. Previous owner paid local rv store to chemically treat tanks prior to storing in for the past 8 mths.

Just got back from my first real trip with my new trailer and learned a very valuable lesson. Useful for when you're going to be out for a longer trip or have lots of people going where your fresh water supply might get scarce. Get a couple of small buckets--one for the kitchen, one for the shower. Use them to collect the cold water that's being run while waiting for it to get hot. You can then use that shower collection for the crapper, or you can put it back in the fresh tank with a funnel. I was 7 days into a 16-day trip when I figured out my fresh supply and grey tank weren't going to make it so I had to cut the trip to only 9 days. Lesson learned.

I tow a 2012 Rockwood Windjammer 7654 lbs 34 foot with 3 slideouts. We just came back from Savanna Georgia. We stayed at the Richmond Hill Georgia KOA where we caught some really nice large mouth bass. 3 to 5 lbs each had a great time with my son and grand children. If someone would explain how to upload pictures, I am almost computer illiterate, I will show pictures of my truck 2015 SR 5 Double Cab Barcelona Red and fishing pics to
