40 min? S.o.b. it's a 12 hour drive for us to get to the closest beach. We have a lot of lakes and rivers close by tho. Somebody needs to start a camping trip thread.

    I couldn’t imagine a little boost from a supercharger.

    Sweet setup. That wasn’t cheap.

Cruising speed...if that’s even possible?. :burnrubber:

I got lucky and bought it 4 years ago and at a great price. It cruises at 3500 rpm which varies from 45-50 mph depending on wind and lake chop

A boat is definitely on my to do list. I grew up boating with my pops. We had a 20 ft Reinell cuddy cabin with a hard top. Loved that boat. wish I had a picture of it.

I’m towing my 20’ aluminum boat down to the keys next week. I’d say it weighs about 3500 lbs. I’ll be on the turnpike the whole way, pretty much flat ground, about a 300 mile trip. Do I need to use tow/haul mode? What will get me better fuel economy, using it or not using?

36'9" length, about 8400 loaded with cargo. The Tundra does a great job with it.

The wife and I love our little trailer. Used to tow it with an 08 tacoma. Had that taco loaded to the max for a road trip. Much easier and more comfortable with the Tundra.

So far so good. I like the options the Classic comes with. It seems like a delux situation compared to tenting or in the back of my old pickup. Kids are off on their own, 36&33 so it was mainly for my camping fishing trips. But my wife said to get the dormers as they add a lot of space and provide a platform for a roof AC if I go there. I’ve done more camping with the wife to my surprise as long as the campsite has flush toilets and sinks. Somehow when we met we slept in a 2man tent, so she likes this a lot. We do our share of 5star resorts on Maui and other places though.

This Classic model has upgraded appliances plus hot water and microwave vs the ranger 12. They have a newer model out, a Platinum with larger off road tires but thes seem to work fine so far. It’s light enough I can push it into the garage and out. About 2000 lbs, so the Tundra tows it with ease.

You're probably looking at the gross weight. I listed the dry weight. I think my gross is around 3500lbs.

With my short experience of using tow/haul mode, I think it lowers the gears and is only useful uphill
