25 ft. Prowler total weight loaded 7000 lbs. Getting 9.5 mpg at 70 mph. Alot depends on wind and road thats being traveled.

24' and close to 8000 lbs fully loaded. Pulls great with that tow/haul mode, air bags and WD hitch set-up correctly. Heading to the desert first thing in the AM.

70mph? What are your tires speed rated at? Most RV tires are speed rated at 65mph or slower.

Nitto mud grapplers, very noisy on road and not impressed with results of towing a building in sugar sand yard, lol

What's the size? I have the same rim as you and those tires look sick on it.

SandSport 26FBSL toy hauler, scaled at 8000 lbs. without toys loaded. I'm using a ProPride hitch and upgraded the trailer brakes to discs. Tows very well. Usually see between 7-8 MPG when towing at 65.

    2017 Tundra 4X4 5.7 Liter Motor
3" leveling kit / nerf bars / 33.5" Nitto Trail Grapplers
I recently purchased a 2017 Tundra 4X4 with the 5.7 liter motor. I have a 22' Triton bass boat that I more than love to fish in. This past weekend was the first time to hook the beast up to my boat to haul around the lake. My area is quite hilly. I went from a Ram 1500 to the Tundra. My issue is being in cruse control when going up a hill the truck will lose 10 to 15 MPH. It happens in both tow haul and regular mode. It will down shift once or maybe even twice and the RPMs will go up but the truck will not gain any speed. It just wines out do to the rpms going up. I just asking because my Ram would lose 5 MPH but once it down shifted it would pick up and run.

Just hoping the animal I hope I bought is all I need her to be.

    Thanks,

Dont tow in cruise control mode thats not what cruise co trol is made for. Is your truck in tow haul mode? I pulled much heavier loads than that and and can easily maintain speed limit even up steep grades. But for whats its worth you should never tow in cruise control in my opinion

The Tundra will limit the engine if in cruise and the RPMs exceed a certain point. Seems like mine is around 4k RPM and I have to use the pedal. I do not use cruise when towing because of our elevation and terrain and this feature.

They suck. Don't waste your money on helper springs.

    Big trailer.....enough about that.

We towed a family boat like that behind our Prius once, but the tires weren't rated for that weight.
