So I saw the new-ish commercial where the Tundra owner dodges/avoids work to go fishing or hunting or whatever. What do you think of it?

Personally I was disappointed that Toyota didn't step up with another impressive show of power, speed or some other form of showmanship.

PS. I would have posted the video but I couldn't find it on YouTube.

I didn't particularly like it. Instead of taking the truck out for a day of work to show toughness and work utility, the commercial shows the guy doing stuff that is easy. I think Toyota missed an opportunity to show how tough the Tundra is. Fun is fun but I think that guys, in general, want a truck that can handle the tough stuff too.

Or the bills. I actually pay for basic cable, the box is downstairs, and has not been on since the installer came to my house.

I think Toyota pulled the recent commercial, it's not on their YouTube channel.

I bet they were worried about copyright infringement. It's the Ford and Chevy commercials where the trucks don't do any real work....

Over 8 years for us since we cut the cord. When we go to a hotel we see the same lame reruns that were playing then. We see we haven't missed much.

The act of cable watching was and still is channel surfing.

We saved some serious money over eight years and gained back valuable time which is better spent elsewhere.
