Coming from a 2019 Limited Ram to 2022 Tundra Platinum

All are first world problem I know BUTTT

    Pros
    Great power and tranny.
    Great handling for a truck.
Stereo is good (added a JL powered sub and made a huge improvement) but the infotainment isn't very user friendly.
    Love the looks.
    Headlights are pretty good.
Quiet cabin even with more aggressive tires (275/60/20 Cooper rugged treks).
Heated seats are very warm and quick.

    Cons
Rattles and tick sounds (going to try and kill them next week, sound proofing the doors with Killmat).
    A tad lethargic skinny pedal.
    Seats could be more comfortable.
Steering wheel heat could be better and hotter (Is there a way the dealership can turn up the temp?).
Wish on remote start the seats, wheel and heater would automatically come on with out having to turn them all on before I leave the truck.
It looses the XM pre sets every week or so.
The HUD is tough to see if you lean much towards the center console.
    Rattles
    Did I mention Rattles??

Overall I really like it and would buy again

Likes: I like the interior with the blue stitching, panoramic roof, all the cameras, rear view mirror camera, bed lights, composite bed, I love the rims on the platinum, ambient lighting, horse power, torque, and gas mileage

Dislikes: I dislike the purchase price

@38Thumper: what is the build date of your Platinum? I ask this because our Nov 11, 2022 build 1794 has zero rattles so far and am wondering if we have rattles in our future. And even the cup holders and other cubby bottoms have rubbery stuff on the bottoms which I read was hard plastic and drinks rattled around on early builds. I have a feeling that Toyota has addressed many of the rattles at some point.

My rattles were exacerbated by warmer temperatures, surprisingly in the winter time the rattles were far less prominent. I added padding to the center console and it would still squeak in the winter, but during the summer you can't touch it without a lot of noise.

@Breathing Bora: make sure to not buy the extended warranty from the dealer. @TBS has the contacts for an awesome price, as in thousands of $$ off my dealer price.

Ya no worries , I still have to wait for an allocation for what I want do I have a while I would guess. I’m well versed in the warranty deal, just got one from Jennifer for my moms highlander

but thanks for the heads up!

when I get my rig I’ll get one before the 3/36 is up , I don’t want to finance that anyway , just pay cash
