Recent Tundra purchase here, 1794 edition, non-hybrid
$8250 off MSRP plus a fair trade (trade offer of 3k less than market for equivalent used vehicle)
I opted for the promo financing over the customer cash

A few factory options such as power running boards, HUD, spray in liner, dashcam and safe to bring it to $74,252 sticker.

Got it for $7k off. Zero fees, no add ons, a *true* 9.5% discount.

Financed it @ 4.99% for 60mo as well, TFS beat my credit union.

Yeah, no offense to some guys but they’re being bamboozled on their ‘discounts’. Every fee or add on a dealer charges should come off your actual realized price. Tons of dealers I know are saying ‘$5k discount’ but then charge a $500 doc fee, maybe $600 for tint, some protection absurdity. That’s all nonsense and makes your actual price much higher.

My dealer was straight up, $7k discount off sticker, zero fee of any kind, and zero add on. Doesn’t get any better. That’s a true 9.5% discount on my build.

    Howdy!

Sorry for the delayed post...life stays busy!

On Friday, January 26, my 11 year old son and I flew from Daytona Beach to Lafayette. Saturday morning, Rebecca's husband pick us up at the hotel and drove us to the dealership in Opelousas, Louisiana. Everyone was great, the deal was as advertised, the paperwork with F&I was efficient and no-pressure. Only nice things to say about Rebecca and the entire process. If you're willing to make the trip to Opelousas, please contact Rebecca and work out the details. Thanks again to Asleepinthecove for putting me in touch with Rebecca (rfournet@priceleblanc.com or (337) 789-0970)! A heads up, the dealership has a new owner. It's no longer Courvelle Toyota. It's now, Price LeBlanc Toyota (they have multiple dealerships in Louisiana).

The truck...2024 TRD Pro, Ice Cap exterior, Cockpit Red interior. Love it! Love it! Love it! Mods so far...high-quality window tint, Diamondback Switchback bed cover, Tufskinz TRD Grille TRI-Color Line Inserts (yellow, orange, red), Ruff Tuff seat covers (yes, I hated covering the awesome TRD Pro interior, but with two young children and a dog, I thought it was a must). I've ordered the Westcott Designs collar lift kit. It should arrive in the next 2-3 weeks. Once the lift kit arrives, I'll have a local 4x4 shop install the collar lift kit and a 35" wheel/tire combo (OEM TRD Pro wheels/tires available for sale soon!). That should be it for us.

The trip...as I mentioned, I took my 11 year old son on the trip. After leaving the friendly folks at the dealership in Opelousas, we headed to Baton Rogue. We stopped at the LSU baseball facility. Our son plays baseball and aspires to play college ball, so he was excite to see the home of the reigning College World Series champions. The facility was open, so we walked in and looked around. The players were just arriving to get read for practice. One of the coaches saw us looking around and threw our son baseball. We ended up talking to him for a while. Really fun experience! We then got off the interstate and followed country roads down the Mississippi River to New Orleans, where we stopped for a late lunch. We followed the Gulf Coast and stayed the night in Biloxi. We got up early, make a mandatory Krispy Kreme stop (it's a road trip!), and after a stop to visit FSU, made it home Sunday night. It was a great trip and great time spent with my son.

For the more technical minded reading this...we drove almost 850 miles in the first two days of owning the truck. I avoided any hard accelerations, hard braking situations and did not use cruise control at all on the trip. I made sure to vary my speed, even when on the interstate.

    Have a good one!

I got a decent deal on my 2023 demo 1794 TRD Off Road but there is still a "Toyota Tax" on TRD Pro Tundra's just like TRD Pro Tacomas...basic supply and demand...MSRP no add ons on a new 24 Pro is about the best you can do.

Too much... Who'd ever think a decently equipped half ton pickup truck would cost 60-70K (Any brand)

Just to rub it in :) I paid 39K (before taxes and paper works) on an old but new 2021 SR5 TRD Off Road with only 100 miles on it :) It beats the 60K-75K + for the 3rd gen :)

I was at the dealer this past week to pick up some stuff and they had a $78K Capstone in the showroom with a big sign on the windshield that said "Save $9K".

That's about what you can this model for right now in Ontario, Canada. $92,100 CDN (1.35 US to CDN exchange rate). Our exchange rate and 13% taxes does not help. Easy to see why such trucks are unobtainable by most. Those that manage to get them and have problems is like a kick in the nuts.

I bought a 2024 Tundra TRD Pro in black last October and I paid $76,500. They gave me $57000 for my 2022 Tundra Limited silver with 15000 miles on it.

Looked today at Seattle dealership. Guessing it’s like most places these days, their tundras were around 4k below msrp. That was very hard to find last fall. FYI

Ouch, really? I just picked up my black 2024 1794 for 76,312 + taxes and dealer fees. Which is 5% here in Alberta. That's roughly 56,500 for our US friends. Even threw in a nice set of all black running boards at no charge. I think the other similar models here were around 81-82k. And I just moved from BC last year, they are currently going for like 85-86k there, and they have 12% tax.

    I'm loving this truck.

When I look at these prices people are paying, I am so glad to have grabbed my 15' 1794 with 13k miles in 2018 for $38.5k. The prices have ballooned like everything else. Currently only have 38k miles on it.

I dropped of my Tundra for 15k service and recalls this morning. Dealer had 16 new Tundras in stock. They had 4 in October at the 10k. $750 rebate now on Tundras. Several OEMs (Jeep and Mazda) have dropped prices due to dwindling sales. Surging volumes. Average transaction price across industry has dropped by $4k. So rapidly turning into a buyers market for new vehicles. Which puts high downward pressure on resale values. Better time to buy a new vehicle unless you need COVID high resales on the old one to swing it.

Just picked up my 2024 Tundra Limited 4x4 TRD Off-Road. Bought the Truck in Kansas.

    Here is my pricing breakdown:

    Window Sticker:
    Base 56,905.00
EJ - JBL Premium Audio 565.00
    OF - TRD Off-Road Package 3,580.00
    SR - Panoramic Roof 1,350.00
WS - Heated Steering Wheel 150.00
    2T - All Weather Floor Liners 179.00
    LB - Spray-on Bed Liner 599.00

    MSRP 63,328.00
    DELIVERY FEE 1,850.00

    Total Suggested Retail Price 65,178.00

    My price before TTL 55,178.00
    TTL 3,791.88
    Dealer admin fee 571.00
    Sale price 55,749.00

Dealer had zero add-ons! They did have a admin fee but I was ok with it given the price and zero addons.

Great deal! If I was offered 10k off a Limited I’d jump all over it. All the dealers around me have 30-45 Tundra’s on the lot so hoping they start discounting them even more sooner than later.

Nothing is stopping you from going into the dealership and tell them which one you want and make an offer for the out the door price based on some of the prices you are seeing here. Let them figure out how to backtrack on their invoice to give you that out of the door price. The worst they can say is no and go kick rocks but then just give them your phone number and say I am just a phone call away if you change your mind, thank you! Stay on top of prices for the truck you want in the meantime as they can drop their prices faster than you think especially at the end of the month to make thier quota's or just before new MY start coming in.

I’m not in much of a hurry to be honest. I haven’t even tried to negotiate with anyone. All my offers have been just first text message from salesman.

About 10 mins ago one reached out again with the 5k, 7k, 10k off msrp for limiteds, platinums, and capstones. Told them no thanks. It’s a smaller dealer too. Not many in stock at least.

I’m still leaning on waiting to see what the 2025’s offer anyways. 24’s are stacking up on lots here so I’m sure dealers are starting to get antsy.

That's a smoking good deal. I was around 5.5k off MSRP for the a similar build back in October. Good job!

The pricing will lose their bottom, as soon as the selection is over with, if not sooner, and when that happens... Oh boy....

Funny TundraMoe the condition to get this deal done was to close it by Feb 29th. It was very lucky timing. I found this truck on Feb 28th after talking to a local dealer the day before in TX. The TX dealer tried to get me to pay the crazy GST(Gulf States Toyota) add-ons above MSRP and mask it by discounting it by a few thousand. Adams Toyota in Kansas had zero add-ons and was very transparent with everything. I live in TX and was able to fly to Kansas City the next day to buy it and drive home. I would recommend only buying from dealers that have fair sales practices and transparence. Paying for a ticket on Southwest to buy a truck to save several thousand is a no brainer.

If anyone needs the number for my sales guy let me know
    Brian
