That's funny I also had a Tacoma and Ranger before the Tundra but I had two other ones at the same time as the Taco and Ranger. That Ranger was so damn reliable!

Was a loyal Chevy Silverado owner for number off years. November 2020 traded in 2019 Silverado with 12,000 miles after GM screwed me with faulty 8 speed transmission vibration and slipping .

    So here’s my car list
2003 Toyota camary xle (grandmas old car, w/17k miles)
2013 Subaru BRZ (slow fun, and only car there I’ve ever seen rear view mirror fall off while driving.... first year production problems)
2013 Honda Civic si sedan (great little daily)
2005 Honda S2000 ssm (still have, now has appx 53k miles)
2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t manual (great sedan, decent power w/k tune, but a sloppy gearbox... especially for a Honda.... and I HATED the electronic parking brake #savethemanualparkingbrake
    And now 2021 tundra platinum

I loved that thing. It was a tank, wouldn't do over 65 mph and the 2.8 v6 roared like it had a big block or something. Lots of adventures in that thing.

My cousin's boyfriend was going on and on about how his 97 Explorer was the only vehicle that never left him stranded and then it left him stranded. He ended up buying my late grandfather's 93 K1500 from my grandmother for a very good price and putting a new water pump in it.

The engine and transmission in my dad's were good but he replaced CV boots every year and exhaust every couple of years.

The electrical system was so bad that it took him 20 years before he was willing to buy another vehicle with power locks and windows.
