What can I do for a smoother ride?

    what would I be able to do to eliminate bed bounce and get a little smother right on my truck?

    I think the 37'' Cooper mud terrains are a big part of it.

    well im running an 8'' lift and fox 2.0s in the back.. but I was curious about shackles and that kinda stuff.. not really sure what they are used for

    Change the leaf packs out. I know you have a tall lift, but the ICON RXT pack made a huge difference for me. I'm about 3" front and 1.75" rear. The RXT pack provided that much in the rear. The pack comes with another leaf that will lift the rear 3". I guess that with a block or shackles will get you there.

    that's another thing im not so sure about.. I don't know a whole lot about leaf packs. ill definitely do some research on it though, thanks

    Sway bars won’t help w smooth ride. If you have an 8” lift you probably have a huge block back there to get lift. That probably doesn’t help. I would replace the block with a full leaf pack replacement like others has mentioned. You can go Alcan or Deaver.

    I think your 2.0 are undersized for 37" tires. The smoothness of your ride is most effectively altered with leafs and shocks. I'm guessing you've got a bolck back there. Custom springs would make a world of difference. IMO

    Sounds expensive.. like I said, I don't know a whole lot about leaf springs. I just put the 2.0s on last week, so haven't got a whole lotta miles on em

    i run 37s (mickey thompson atz p3) on my 6" lift and it rides great. rear pro comp shocks, ome drakar leaf pack and coach builder +3 shackles. no block. previous had a 3" block or some garbage. i reached out to coachbuilder directly for guidance on ride and i did what he said. Very happy. for comparison. my wife dd's an escalade. my truck rides slightly firmer (slightly) but every bit as smooth. @Coachbuilder1

    to add to this i also run coachbuilders tie rod ends also very much worth the $ in steering response esp at speed when the suspension is cycling down.

    I think the block is a big part of it... I think you may be on to something with the shackles. I just have no idea what is needed for an 8"

    its a ready lift so im running all stock components up front (besides UCAs), but its a big ass spacer that goes above my coils. the front end seems fine I think

    This is my go to answer. Start with adjusting your tire pressure’s. Let some more air out of those big fat rear tires. Adding weight always helps too. I do agree with shackles and upgraded leaf packs.

    this is good advise also. i never realized you do not fill pressure up to what the tire side wall says. i was chasing rough ride on my 8" lifted excursion on 37s. had 60 lbs of pressure in tire, lowered to the recommended 35 and that made a substantial difference. lowered the pressure in my tundra and that also aided in a better ride.

    You can always add a set of these too for a cheaper easier way to soften the blows than new leaf packs. A friend of mine has them on his lifted superduty- night and day difference.

    You do realize Fox shocks are valved for off-road and aggressive driving right? For a pavement princess and the desire to ride like a caddy, I would have went a different route. Sounds cool though.

    Not all is lost. Re-valve your shock. Slow down your rebound a bit.
