    Thanks @NewImprovedRon

I'll probably let them know tomorrow that I want to go ahead with the spray liner.

I've been happy with the Line-X regular spray-in liner and a rubber bed mat over that.

If the spray liner is a go, which I'm hoping it is, it's already on my to-buy list

I'm hoping it's LineX, but either way, I'll end up with a mat if I get the spray done.

I'll update this thread when I hear back from my guy.

Spray in liner is a go for next week!!! Glad I asked and opted against the drop in plastic liner.

It will be done by Carlson Truck Outfitters here in Winnipeg, has a lifetime warranty for me (original owner) and based on their site, it is Line-X.

    Phew.

    Thanks guys!

I got a BedRug for my 2012 F150 and it was still in great shape when I traded it in a few months ago.

My Tundra came with the factory spray in bed liner, but my first add on to was to put a BedRug in it too.

    @CourtJester

I'm leaning towards the bed mat for our weather, cost and to give it some grip.

Liner is a confirmed go for Monday. Then I'll start looking at getting a Toyota bedmat.

Confirmed with retailers ....They only do Line-X.

"I absolutely use Line-X for all my customers! Nothing but the best. They've made the appointment, we'll take good care of it!"

Boom. Does it ever look good.

Even came with the warranty registration, which I was happy to see. Not bad for $220 Canadian.

In my town line x is running a special on the non uv at $395 vs $495. Is it worth it to upgrade to uv protection or stay with non uv. Uv protection is $649 vs $395.

I'm looking at an '18 CM with factory spray in liner. I have heard some nightmare stories regarding the spray in stuff having a tendency to trap moisture between the product and the metal itself, rusting it from the inside out. It looks fine until you put something in a crusty spot and then it breaks off a big chunk. This would be operated in the mid-Atlantic area, for what it's worth. We get our fair share of moisture around here, despite there being a near-drought at present.

Does anyone have an older truck with a spray in liner with good/bad reports on this particular matter?

Man, you guys are finding better deals than me. Every place I called was going to be over $600.

One of my coworkers just had Line-X done to his Ram with a 5.5 box. He had it done with the regular, and it came to 675 out the door. Looks like I'll be paying around 800, with the 6.5 and I'm going to do the premium. Next summer though, I've spent enough on the truck this year, need to reset funds

I would highly recommend Monstaliner. It's a DIY paint-on liner, but it is NOTHING like that cheap spray-can stuff from depo/lowes. I had it on my bumper ends for 1.5 years and it never chipped, scratched or de-laminated.

It is a 2-part catalyst that goes through a chemical reaction to harden... It isn't as rough on the knees as some other liners, but still protects the hell out of the underlying material.

And here I thought the $600 CAD that Toyota Canada charges didn't sound unreasonable based on what others are paying...

I got the drop in for 1/2, so $240 or so cad. Asked if I could switch to spray in and what the difference in price would be. They said it was cheaper and they put the difference towards service credit.

I was happy with the price and outcome for sure.

When I called Line-X in Winnipeg, I was quoted $650+tax.
