That movie, Marksman, is the worst and plot is really annoying. Don't read if you are animal lover:

because Mexicans stole money from other Mexicans who were cartel, chain of events is set off that results in a good dog dying. I was so mad, I almost stopped watching at that point. It was a gorgeous border collie.

@EmergencyMaximum Yeah, watched it last year, I think. It was ok, gave it a six out of ten on imdb.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967). Tubi. I’ve been meaning to watch for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. A good solid cast.

Choke (2008). Prime. Entertaining dark comedy with Sam Rockwell.

The Andromeda Strain (1971). Prime. A bit long-winded at first, but picks up and finishes well. Entertaining to see those early computers chugging along.

Are they still on broadcast tv? I haven't watched regular tv in like 10 years, at least. YouTube is where it's at for me.

Bad Thoughts on Netflix. Dark comedy skits breaking the mold of today's "standards."

King Rat (1965). Tubi. Started off a bit long-winded but gets funny after the rat scheme.

Noises Off (1992). Prime. Funny and something a bit different.

Coincidentally, Denholm Elliott was in both these films. Sadly, he died of AIDS a couple months after Noises Off was released. I looked up his bio and hadn't known he was a British POW in WW2.

Just finished True Detective: Night Country Season 4.
The first episode started off slow, but it picked up.

I watched season 1, read about to 2 and 3 and didn't watch, then watched season 4.
I had never heard of Kali Reis, but I felt she did a great job in the series..

Now watching Reacher's most recent season, despite not caring much for Alan Ritchson.

Birdy (1984). Tubi. Great little gem of a film. Had never even heard of it and it came out in my senior year in HS. Saw it on a watch list of great movies that have been forgotten. Great ending.

Enemy (2013). Tubi. Now that was a bit trippy movie, especially that ending that went over my head. Had to look it up - it didn’t have to be so cerebral.

The End of the Tour (2015). Tubi. Despite mostly dialogue, the movie did not lose my attention. Well written and directed.

Garden State (2004). Hulu. Some funny moments and heartwarming.

Gas Food Lodging (1992). Tubi. A little gem film with an odd film title that doesn’t do it justice.

Away From Her (2006). Tubi. Sad and depressing but very well made film and one everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime.

    I finished Reacher season 3.
It's a bit cheesy, too many loose ends.
Reacher is a badass, we get it...

L.A. Confidential (1997). Hulu. Good police drama flick.

Jojo Rabbit (2019). Hulu. Not at all what I thought this would be. A very enjoyable watch. The child actors are really good.

Chopper (2000). Hulu. I didn't recognize Eric Bana at first. He is a badass in this Aussie flick. He is an Australian criminal household name, like Al Capone in US.

Timecrimes (2007). PlutoTV. From Spain, an entertaining time travel movie with good plot twists.

Safety Not Guaranteed (2012). PlutoTV. A good ultra low-budget time travel film. Clever title in line with the story line.

    Finished MobLand last night.
    It was worth the watch..
Very Guy Ritchie, being that he's an executive producer and directed some episodes.

    MobLand (TV Series 2025– ) - IMDb

Watched 2 episodes of The Better Sister tonight.
Sounds like a chick flick title, but it's a thriller series.
There have already been a couple of twists I wasn't expecting.
I like it, should have got the wife to watch it with me.
Jessica Beil is smoking hot, Elizabeth Banks isn't too shabby either..
