The Lineup (1958). Prime. A good action crime drama. I drooled over he 1957 black Dodge Coronets the detectives drive.

Ronin (1998). Prime. Another good crime action flick. Jean Reno shines.

Roma Violenta (1975). OK site. The Dirty Harry of Rome PD, but this cop is fired from the force for his heavy handed tactics. He soon joins a vigilante group to continue his sense of justice.

The Italian Job (1969). OK site. Entertaining Brit flick with a renown car chase and stunt scenes. Starring a young suave MIchael Caine.

Tin Star (2017-2020). Prime. A violent sometimes-quirky Brit crime drama about an anti hero family. S1 was the best; S3 had the most quirky scenes. Stars Tim Roth who does a good performance.

Late to the party, I know... But Vikings is pretty legit. Landman was great. Waiting "patiently" for The Last of us, S2.

Lomax cover, TRD PRO headlight conversion...so far anyway
Watched at home, rewatched at the station: Landman, Tulsa King, Lioness...all Taylor Sheridan. Slow day at the station (so far) just finished Sicario. Think we might start Black Sails...group vote on this.

Currently watching The Americans on Hulu at home.

To Live and Die in L.A. (1985). Prime. Very 80’s vibe crime action flick. Memorable car chase and anti hero storyline.

Police Story (1985). Max. Classic Jackie Chan flick.

Tenet (2020). Prime. An adventurous mind bending ride. My head felt inverted trying to keep up.

Mission Impossible II (2000). Paramount+. Decent action flick but laden with believability fighting sequences and stunts.

Mission Impossible III (2006). Paramount+. My favorite of the three so far. Hoffman was pretty good; may he rest in peace.

Nothing wrong with Gunsmoke. I remember watching reruns with my dad when I was in grade school, in late 70’s.

The Gorge (2025). AppleTV. Good acting and action. Innovative plot device. The romance aspect was predictable and unnecessary - should have been all action like Predator. Overall, a good watch.

Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011). Paramount+. Bad guy getting a nuke bomb storyline is boring. Stunt work is pretty good.

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation (2015). Prime. A good one. Stunts were great and most action sequences were not out of this world.

Mission Impossible Fallout (2018). Paramount+. Another good MI with impressive stunt work. Cavill made an excellent villain.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning (2023). Paramount+. Ethan vs AI - the villains keep getting ludicrous, and this is a two part film. The action scenes remain top notch. The yellow Fiat sequence was purposely hilarious - the funniest yet.

Tangerines (2013). Tubi. Subtitled Estonian film. Set during War in Abkhazia (1992–93), a tangerine farmer rescues two soldiers fighting each other. Good acting. The storyline feels familiar but I enjoyed it.

Alphaville (1965). Prime. Described as film noir meets Sci-fi - I found the film peculiarly interesting. Good acting and storyline but sets and wardrobe are so un-Sci-fi. The mechanized narrator I found creepy and annoying, even if he was a cancer survivor with a voice box.

On the Beach (1959). Internet Archive. Post-apocalyptic anti-war sentiment film. Gloomy and sad.

That was a good book. I wasn't aware it had been made into a movie.

@Cpl_Punishment Two actually, there is a 2000 version with Armand Assante. I haven't watched that one. I read some book fans did not like the 1959 film as it changed some things.

The Day the Earth Stood Still (1959). Internet.org. A classic Sci-Fi. I also liked the 2008 version.

Sleeper (1973). CinemaBox. A silly Woody Allen Sci-fi flick. The physical comedy was predictable and unfunny. A yawner for me.

The Brother From Another Planet (1984). Tubi. That was something a little bit different, but uniquely entertaining.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). Tubi. A rewatch but never seen the first 20 min or so. A must-see among western films.

Let the Right One in (2008). Tubi. Swedish film with English subtitle. A very interesting and peculiar take on the vampire genre. Has some plot holes but good acting and a good watch overall.

First Men in the Moon (1964). Tubi. Brit Sci-Fi interpretation of a HG Wells novel. It felt quite out-dated. I have not watched the 2010 nor 1919 versions.

Coherence (2013). Prime. Good storyline but I find the point-of-view technique very annoying.

3 Idiots (2009). Prime. A Bollywood flick with subtitles. The baby delivery sequence was overboard, but “aal izz well”. A very entertaining film. Catchy soundtrack also - zoobi doobi …

Avengement (2019). Prime. Very good anti-hero flick. Excellent bar fight - that bartender should have got her ass kicked too.

Capernaum (2018). Prime. Subtitles Lebanese film. A very well made film that lost the Best Foreign film Oscar to Roma, another well made film.

Being John Malkovich (1999). Archive.org. What a unique inventive film - from the 7 1/2 floor to Malkovich entering his own mind. The film is hilarious and thought provoking.

Do The Right Thing (1989). Netflix. A little slow and long winded in the middle, good acting and intense finale you could feel was coming.

Taxi (1998). Prime. French with subtitles. Comedic car chasing flick. A hot rodding cab driver gets stuck helping a cop who can’t pass a driver’s test.

Control (2007). Tubi. The short and tragic life of Ian Curtis, frontman of Joy Division. The lead actor’s resemblance and mannerisms to Ian are uncanny.

Joy Division (2007). Tubi. Documentary of the band. A good watch after watching Control.

Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (199). Max. Quirky but a good watch.

Lawrence of Arabia (1962). Max. Epic. I have the cold and looked for the longest-running film on my watchlist. This was it and it moved right along for a 3.6 hour watch.
