    I hate to admit I got it as a blind buy on 4k UHD disc. I was buying something on my Best Buy card and needed $19 to get no interest. Moonfall was in arm's reach for $20, and since I hadn't seen it I grabbed it lol.

    Definitely the worst of the Emmerich disaster films, and they seem to be getting worse. But for mindless background entertainment and a pristine demo-worthy Atmos track, I have no complaints. And actually now that you mentioned it, I'm still working for a few more hours so I just popped it on to continue my disaster movie fest.

    But I otherwise agree with @Taco-Spike , great idea/plot, but not very well executed. Typical formula too with the reluctant hero, a level-headed smart person (and babe) to help out, and the sidekick comedy relief.

    Season 3 was my favorite. But then again, it was so long between seasons because of covid that I don't really remember what happened in prior seasons lol.

    I was instantly hooked! unlike a lot of shows these days with 10 episode seasons (or less) often takes me 2-3 episodes to get into.

    I'm also starting to favor Amazon's original programming. Always seems to have great production value!

    It's really good. That said, if you've read the book don't expect the same story. They took the general idea and title and created a new story.

    Haven't read it, either. Not really my genre for reading. I'm almost all sci-fi/fantasy for novels. I do enjoy post-apocalyptic settings, just not so much in the horror genre outside of film.

    On Netflix a show called Physical 100. It's a show from South Korea where the contestants are pitted against each other or they are in teams in various strength and or agility events. It's kind of like a cross between American Ninja Warrior and Steve Austins Broken Skull Ranch. The contestants are incredible. Check it out.....
