I have been streaming Seinfeld on Netflix. I’m in my 30’s now but remember my dad watching it when so was a kid.

Ha! I started a few months ago, made it through a few seasons, but a new season of this or that started and I haven’t made it back to it yet.

I remember watching it decades ago but not episode by episode or weekly.

I started at the first episode, pretty cool to see what it was like when it started. The cast looks young, haha. They seemed to have good chemistry from the beginning though, no wonder it was so successful.

I get to them when I can, I’m not that far along yet.

So many quotable lines from Seinfeld that have become engrained in our culture, or at least the generation and so after. I work for a place that has Seinfeld references at its core, and the annual Christmas party is Seinfeld themed (hint). I'd say I miss the show, but it's always on. Love it!

I tried watching the first episode of Seinfeld on Netflix and gave up halfway through, though I've seen a few on TV.

Grand Prix Final was supposed to be held this weekend in Japan, but they closed their borders again. GPF postponed until end of season.

Only other competition this month is Japanese Nationals (which will determine the Japanese Olympic team) but THAT isn't streamed by Peacock...subscription absolutely wasted this month. :frusty:

Damn, I haven't seen Just Friends in a long time, I remember it being pretty good... I guess it is a Christmas movie.

I'm holding off for A Christmas story till it gets a little closer to the week of. Along with Miracle on 34th, Scrooged, and a few others. Oh and some old Claymation ones

Yeah, I've never watched it until it hit Netflix. I gave up too. I don't see the comedy personally. The soup nazi did make me chuckle but that was about it.

We watched Deep Blue Sea last night. I love trasy shark movies. :D

Yeah we love Just Friends. It's on our annual Christmas movie watch-list.

Ha, funny that you save Christmas Story for closer to Christmas, because I save Die Hard and Christmas Vacation for closer to Christmas and I think you posted that you watched those already lol.

Yup. The Shallows, Bait, Soul Surfer, Into The Blue, Jaws, Shark Lake and yes, even Sharknado. LOL. We love low or low-ish budget monster movies. Anaconda, Lake Placid, Pirahna and the like. Just mindless popcorn flicks.

Zombie movies are another genre we watch alot of.

    LOL same here.

I can tolerate the action-horror genre, like Blade/Underworld/Resident Evil movies. I watch those every year in October, along with Zombieland. I didn't know Bill Murray was in Zombieland when I first saw it so it became an instant classic for me.

Another one that I really enjoyed was Pride + Prejudice + Zombies, enough so that I picked it up on 4k UHD. That one is included as well in my October movies. I also know what's going on now whenever the wife watches the Kiera Knightly version lol.

Tried the new western on Netflix, The Harder They Fall. Had to quit about 30 minutes in. It's a shame because it has a ton of potential. The soundtrack is what ruined it for me. The gangster rap and hippity hoppity "music" pulls me right out of the immersion and ruins it for me. Modern day gangster movie? Sure, that "music" works. A western? Nope. Can't do it.
