What are you streaming/watching?

Maybe the important question is which of the Craig movies do you like? I'm a fan of Casino Royale and Skyfall. Didn't like Quantum of Solace or Spectre.

 

Yeah, I'm the same. Solace wasn't good. Spectre I didn't hate but it wasn't great. Craig is my 2nd favorite Bond though.

 

Connery is my favourite. I still think Craig is my second favourite but I'm developing more of an appreciation for Moore. His movies are cheesy but entertaining.

 

Yep, Connery IS Bond. I do like Moore, but his movies are definitely a different feel.

 

Just binged “True Story” on Netflix. Seriously good.

 

I have a soft spot for Brosnan, He was the man at the time when I started getting into Bond, also N64 Golden eye was the jam.

 

Same. Goldeneye is still one of my faves.

 

Golden Eye was a great game but I can't stand Brosnan. What kind of a secret agent can drive a tank through an entire enemy camp, shooting the entire time and not kill a single person?

Re-watching Cosmos - A spacetime odyssey

 

Wrapped up the last couple of Yellowstone Season 3 episodes over the long weekend, and also did my annual Thanksgiving weekend Willow / Lord of the Rings fest, but this time on 4k UHD/Atmos.

 

Seriously. I jumped in a tank last night in Far Cry 6 and wiped out an entire base population in a matter of minutes. And I'm not even a spy amateur. IRL.

 

Currently watching The Sopranos for the first time.

I started reading The Wheel of Time books earlier this year (I'm currently finishing book #4). I found out about the show and was hoping it would be good, but I'm not hearing too many positive things. The books are starting to drag a bit anyway... we'll see. I'll probably re-watch Dexter with the wife when we're done with the Sopranos.

I want to watch The Sopranos but apparently my wife decided after Breaking Bad that she doesn't like "intense" shows.

 

Finishing up the 2020 Season of "60 Days In" on Netflix - now "Squat and Cough!"

Started season 3 of "Hanna" and Mrs. Bandito and I were watching "Invasion" before my parents came for a visit so we'll be catching up on that soon. Also plan on watching "Hawkeye" this week on Disney +. I'm beginning to think I have too much free time.

 

Next time she's out of town, go buy a stack of cold cuts and have a Sopranos marathon. You deserve it, my friend.

 

Yes! Looking forward to it, but I also wonder how it will be written 30+ years later. And I was also somewhat surprised that Warwick Davis was reprising the role!

I get the "intense" argument from the wife as well. Except she'll sit down and watch Seal Team with me and is now hooked. But I suspect that if every intense show/movie had David Boreanaz, I wouldn't be replying to this conversation.

My wife was similar, although both of those shows have enough humor in them to somewhat offset the intensity at times. The biggest issue she has with the Sopranos was the violence against women (understandable).

I have Kingdom of Heaven on now.

 

I always get all emotional at the end of Diehard 2 when his wife's plane is finally able to land and they embrace... "Why do these things keep happening to us?!" Makes the tears well up every time. I guess, deep down, I'm a romantic.

First time seeing 10 Cloverfield Lane and was really surprised! But the audio quality stunk (understandable for free streaming). Now I'm gonna have to pick it up on 4k UHD and watch with appropriate audio in my HT.
