    The acting was barely mediocre, the dialogue was kinda flat and the premise is pants on head stupid. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. :D

    The wife and I are currently watching The Blacklist on Netflix. Never heard of it til browsing around after finishing Yellowstone... pretty dang good I must say. And it's 8 long seasons (22 episodes per) so should keep us busy for awhile.

    Watched it over the weekend as well. Pure rubbish. Adds new meaning to the words "Disaster film" as the film itself was the disaster. At one point I was wondering if Emmerich will ever be allowed to make another movie again. And it was essentially a mashup of 3 of his prior films (ID4, The Day After Tomorrow, and 2012).

    Yet somehow I still managed to enjoy it lol.

    But me being an audio nut had a lot to do with ti, too. I'm a sucker for audio/HT, and this movie has one of the best Dolby Atmos mixes I've heard to date. My walls shook, and things got blowed up real good. If I could imaging what it would sound like being in a spacecraft while the moon was close to colliding with Earth, what I heard in my living room is probably pretty close. :D
