Haha, yeah... loved her with the short hair, too. But this was the original. I updated my post for clarity. I watched Legacy a couple of weeks ago... but admittedly, that one is the same as Ready Player One. I've watched it a ton. I pop it on every so often.

Dune (2021 - 4k blu-ray)

 

I need to get back to this one. We started it when it released and never finished it.

 

So far so good. I think I added it to my watch list a while ago but got knocked down in the list.

Only one season though, not sure if more are coming? came out in 2020

 

Interesting if not creative concept. But my wife got a little weirded out by it mid-way through, which I think is why we stopped watching lol.

I didn't see any cancellation info on it. Hopefully they can keep it fresh and keep it going.

Can't decide which version of that movie I like better.

 

I like 'em both, but for different reasons. The Stallone version is just corny and fun 90s cheese. The latest one was just straight up action and a good cast, and I love Urban's delivery of the 1-liners. I never read the comic though so I don't know how the films measure up.

I just started Season 1 with my lady last night. I've seen the first two seasons so good for a recap, she hasn't seen any.

She likes it. She said it’s too intense to binge lol, we need to break it up.

Ozark, (S4 Episode 7)

Whatever works to keep the lady interested! I have to do the same with the wife when things get too intense, otherwise she's done.

I wasn't aware that the final Ozark season was 14 episodes, split in two parts. So now that we've reached the end of part 1, we're gonna re-watch the first 3 seasons to answer some lingering questions.

I tried watching Schitt's Creek but couldn't do it lol. I've been thinking of giving it a second chance, though.

 

The Chronicles of Riddick (Unrated Version | Blu-ray)

 

Totally did not see this thread. Recently been trying to complete some of my movie collection and catch up on shows. Bought Dune 4K and 3D. The 3D was a little bit disappointing with a couple of good scenes. I know Villeneuve isn't a 3D advocate but I loved Blade Runner 2049 in 3D, so I was hoping that they'd have really good post-processing for this one. I would highly recommend the 4K version though with the Atmos track.

As far as streaming goes, been keeping up with Blade Runner Black Lotus, Book of Boba Fett, and Peacemaker. Peacemaker really cracks my shit up.

 

I never got into the 3D thing. It wasn't for me. But when someone says 4k, UHD, HDR, DTS:X, or Atmos, my eyes/ears perk up . Blade Runner 2049 has become my "demo" disc. Took the crown from my long-standing demo favorite, Live Free or Die Hard.
