Is there a feed on this guys? I can’t seem to find one , not that good at searching. I what to see what you are paying for your Trd pro in your area! I’m not sure if i am getting robed or not lol!!
    Houston Tx
Keep in mind this is mrsp plus market adjustment fee!!

Fred haaas 23’- asking $20k above msrp
They offered me one at $96k drive out

mike Calvert asking $15k above mrsp
Would not given me a drive out price since it’s not on the lot yet .

I found one for $7 k above msrp plus dealer ad ons total drive out is $89k

    Is $89 k a good deal ? That’s the cheapest I found in Houston.

if you know of any dealer that’s not charging a markup fee let me know please

Paid MSRP for mine but had to wait 13 months for it to come in. Luckily it came in as a 2023! Maplewood Toyota in Minnesota, they sell nothing over MSRP. Although my salesman said the waitlist for the Pro was 40+ people long.

I ordered mine in January of this year and they are still charging $15-20k over msrp . Left a deposit and walked away last week from the deal because I could justify paying $15k over msrp .

All the ones I find are out of state. It’s been Alabama, Georgia and Michigan.

there is one east Texas dealer at msrp but it’s low allocation

Anything over MSRP is a rip off. Throw a wide net and be willing to walk away. I live in Wyoming and I'll be travelling to Texas to get a Tacoma Pro at MSRP because everything closer is being gouged with $5,000-$10,000 "adjustments" and lots of dealerships are only selling to in state/local in order to artificially shrink the pool of vehicles that buyers can choose. It took some hunting, and it was actually a couple guys on here that pointed me to a dealership that doesn't go over MSRP. I'll leave it to them if they want to refer, as they know the guy personally.

If you are looking for one of the guys that helped @GODZILLA that he should be making a road trip to buy, let me know. The dealership is in south DFW but it would just be a day trip for you and would give you a nice drive home to enjoy your new vehicle.

Send me a message if that sounds reasonable and I can provide his info.

$20K over for truck that is already a limited +$15K in "accessories". I cannot believe people are actually paying that combined with current interest rates

Where do people get all this money? I need to figure that out. I make a very decent income but I would never pay that kind of money unless I was filthy rich.

Autonation Toyota Gulf Freeway has one they offered me at MSRP and it’s ready to go on the lot. I’m 6’3” and the new tundra is waaaay to small for me. Absolutely no head room in the back and i felt crammed in the front seat.

That’s the thing. The majority of them are not spending their own money. As rates climb, even the…let’s say less prudent among us are disinclined to continue paying over MSRP and financing at $1000+/month or lowering their payment by going to some insane term like 84 months.

I have the feeling it’s gonna get really bad for a lot of folks.

I'm 6'5" and I fit great in my new Tundra. I have a limited with the power seats. While I was waiting for my allocation to come in, I bought an SR5 3rd gen which did not have the power seats. It didn't have any up/down manual adjustments, just front/back. That seat was WAY too high for people our size. I suggest you try a trim that comes with the power seats....it's a world of difference. As for the backseat, I don't ever sit back there so I don't really care if it's only suitable for normal-sized people.

We fit, not sure about great though haha. TRD Pro comes with power seats but i have to account for my dad, uncle, brothers, etc. when traveling. I’m the shortest guy in the family at 6’3”

    So it's pretty simple...

If you need a truck asap, then you will pay above msrp. Let's say that your truck is the only vehicle in the family, or you use it for work, and your old truck broke down... You can get ram, Ford, gm under msrp probably, but if you want the latest, and most cool truck, then you'll have to paaaay

Inventory is scarce, so you're competing against many people who are willing to pay above msrp.

The longer your search, the more desperate you'll become, you will want to end your part time career of car broker chasing tricks all over US and will pay above msrp ++++ just to keep living your life.

I was hustling for my truck all over CA, tracking 100 dealerships, and didn't have many choices. 90% of those dealers wanted 5-10k above msrp for a limited. The other 10% simply didn't have white color limited that I wanted.

So I have ended up in a 1794 edition, for $3k over msrp at a local dealer. I'm happy, my life goes on and I don't need to waste time hustling dealerships anymore!

I can also make an argument that a Tundra (should) last 10-15 years or more, and is a good investment.

I had a ram truck for 10 years that fell apart at 120k miles, and I was forced to buy a new truck.

$80k truck used for 15+ years isn't such a bad investment after all.

Should be able to buy one for just over 70k not including taxes. If you think about it it’s only about about 5k more than a loaded up limited off road. Really a bargain…but no 70k vehicle is a good investment… none. I’m not bashing anyone, because I have a loaded up 2022 Superduty Lariat 7.3 gas sitting in my driveway, it’s not a good way to spend your money. When you total up all the sales taxes, personal property taxes every year, high a## insurance or some other taxes or associated fees most new vehicles are a Terrible “investment”.

I picked up my Solar Octane last week at MSRP+$499 factory installed dash camera. I wanted a camera anyway. Just saved me the trouble of installing one.
