    WTH,

If we spend $100-150 @ week for the two of us I am screaming...:p

We can Spend more if need be BUT since someone purchased someone else... A!D! purchased W!NN @!X!E our bill has stayed the same...

If I had Y'alls payments we would be eating more "wabbit, fish & Venison." All legally harvested by "A source" :hattip:

    Too many, but not enough....
Socal here with a family of 4, kids are 4 and 5 and my wife and I aren't small people. We are under 150 bucks a week. We don't eat out, except 3 or 4 times a year for special occasions. We buy quality food but my wife is a crazy, frugal couponer. Like, she makes money buying certain items when she sticks like 3 or 4 coupons/deals together. If we can't coupon it, we wait for a sale then load up. I do the same for meat. I have 2 chest freezers for when a good deal is found, I can load up. She won't pay for anything full price. Just last weekend costco had 8 bucks off their chicken breast, which equates to about 35% off. I bought 10 over 2 trips so about 250 bucks worth and loaded up a freezer. That will last us probably 4 months.

Every grocery store has at least 1 day a week that overlaps 2 different sales so that's alot of savings and they each have 1 day, usually Friday, where they have double deals on fresh fruits and veggies.

Love playing the coupon and double deal game. Makes shopping fun and really stretches the money...

Family of 3 in Canuckistan. $150+ per week on average. Chicken breast is around $6/lb at Costco, basically the same as ground beef. A bag of 3 bell peppers was $7 the other day.

A Costco run is $350 - $400 normally. I can't fill the average grocery bag with proper, healthy food for under $50 at even the "discount" grocery stores.

Our grocers are an oligopoly though, with the politicians in their pockets. No real competition in Canada.
