    Wedge salad with steak tips. I trimmed and cut up Tri-tip for the steak.

    Not a big salad fan so I tried to hide it in bacon, mozzarella, and homemade ranch dressing. Not the most appetizing pic but it was really good.

    That's the nice thing with DIY, you can put on what you want and don't, but....

    Ever since I introduced cast iron fried corn into the mix, not a single plate of nachos in our house (4) has opted to not have it.

    My favorite ice cream growing up in Northern Michigan was called "Blue Moon." I stumbled upon a recipe for it a week ago and made a quart of it today. Crazy how your tastebuds can remember something you haven't had for 20+ years.

    I didn't make it very blue because I don't care for food coloring and I was getting worried about how much I was putting in it.
