    Metallica was really the first band I ever got into. Bought their albums and played them endlessly. They were my introduction to my interest in music. When I started to expand my horizons a bit I was utterly shocked at how SHORT most songs are. I mean, really, look at your average song lengths, and then look at your average METALLICA song lengths.
