    Sorry but I'm generally busy on weekday evenings so I'd rather mow my lawn mid day on a Saturday. But we have a small yard so it only takes me half an hour, including letting the mower warm up for 5 minutes.

    Right On ! I'm reminded that some of us are still working and don't have the time or energy to knock it out with the rest of the gardeners during the week . . .
    Mine is a really noisy neighborhood with traffic bombarding us much of the time.
    A little peace and quiet is greatly appreciated by me and my neighbors.

    I have a pool in my backyard and a neighbor who is retired. He is home all week yet he cuts his lawn on Saturday afternoons when me and the wifey are hanging poolside. Takes him about an hour to cut it with a riding mower. I have asked him if he could
    cut it during the week but he refuses.:annoyed:

    I have a friend that's taking care of his retired military dad ~ they're both retired, actually.

    I don't know why ~ tell me why ~ they choose to visit the commissary on Saturday morning to do your grocery shopping ? The jokers could go any day of the week but they reserve Saturday for such.
