Grilled lamb rack, green beans with garlic and onion, honey & butter glazed carrots, rice & gravy, tomato salad.

 

Pork chops and fries on the pellet grill today.
I prefer charcoal/wood grilling over smoking, but this pellet grill/smoker is just so convenient that I use it about 5 times a week.

 

Th3e whole plate looks good, but those tomatoes and onions...

 

Just a quick Sunday night T-bone and fries

 

I bought a Camp Chef Woodwind 24 Pro last week and broke it in yesterday with a pork butt. The cook was fine except I left it in the stall for too long before wrapping it in paper. The SideKick with sear box is being delivered today. This is my first smoker and cook, so I'm happy with the result!





That's my blood on the counter - I nicked my knuckle trimming fat. The rub is just yellow mustard and a commercial KC rub I picked up at Cabelas.

 

Dry rubbed pork shoulder steak over the campfire.

I used the pellets from Sams Club with Mesquite chips in the firebox. Turned out pretty good.

 

First time doing bbq when it’s 30 degrees outside. 8 lbs of Cardiff Crack. Merry Christmas Eve everyone from Big Bear!!!

For dinner tonight I could not decide what to grill for dinner, so I decided to do a little of everything.
Lamb rack, chicken thighs, pork belly and pork chops.

 

Surf & Turf tonight. T-Bone and lobster.

Yesterday's Surf & Turf put me in the mood for seafood today.
Grilled lobster tail, snow crab legs clusters, shrimp scampi, corn and Texas toast.

 

Cast iron on the grill

 

Yes, that's what they are for.
Original cast iron was always used on wood fires before stoves even existed.

 

Just chicken , I didn’t get a shot of the mashed potatoes and roasted veggies .

 

I am smoking 8 pounds of wings. For sides we are having baked potatoes, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and 7 layer taco dip. Also have some helluva good buffalo dip with celery. Low key this years

T-Bone with mushroom sauce, Texas toast, carrots, beets and 4-bean salad.

 

Nothing today. Smoked a pork tenderloin yesterday. I have a 30 year old MHP grill. Put one burner on low and smoke box full of mesquite chips on the ceramic bricks. Kept it about 230 or so. Came out great.

 

Chuck-eye steak with 3 eggs and veggies.

 

Whipping up Philly cheesesteak on the blackstone. Didn’t get a final picture but everyone asked for the recipe so I guess that’s good.
